Days go by quickly, one comes and then another, it happens in a way that we could say is imperceptible. But there is a way to speed up the process, well the perception of the process because it will continue to go at its own pace, that way is to have a routine. Well this is precisely the case of Rosemary to whom this post is addressed. She has a very intense routine that she follows every day. But unlike other people who follow a routine to be more efficient, she has to do it out of necessity. That is to say, to be able to maintain control in her hectic life. Every minute counts for her so she always tries to stay within her routine. That is why for her time goes by faster, not in a real sense but in a perceptive sense.
But how did we get to this point of so much stress and routine? Well, it all started a long time ago, about 6 years ago. Before that time, her life was not so desperate. You see, she had just graduated as a pianist with honors and was just starting out in this world of music. From the beginning, she was very successful and managed to do good collaborations with singers of that time. So you could say that she would have a bright future in the short and long term. But things did not happen as she imagined, in fact the opposite happened. It turns out that at one of her concerts she met Fer, he was a very handsome guitarist with whom she did several collaborations. Well, one thing led to another and the two ended up connecting and in the end they got married. At first, as expected, everything was going great and they got along very well.
Then, about a year after they were married, she became pregnant with Tifany, her current daughter. It was a joy for both her and Fer when she was born. They raised her together and the three of them got along very well. But not long after, misfortunes began to arrive. Fer cheated on her with another woman. All the projects they had together broke down, and he left her alone with Tiffany, he didn't want to know anything about the two of them. In truth, he had gotten into drugs and because of that he had already lost all sense of life and responsibility. It was very hard for Rosemary to face reality. Now she had to take care of her daughter alone because they had moved out of state and had no family nearby. In addition, she would have to work part-time to be able to support Tiffany. How she could do all that alone was what was bothering her. And for this reason she had to start her rigorous routine out of necessity.
The only way to work part-time was to hire a nanny, so she had to do it. But this was expensive because she had to pay a salary and also maintain food for both of them among other important expenses. But there was no other option. What she did was make a contract to work part-time in some hotels in the area so that foreigners who came from other parts of the country could listen to piano music while they waited and things like that. With this job she was able to support herself and her daughter for several years. But of course in this job she could not develop professionally as a pianist as she wanted at the beginning. So she knew it would be temporary, but this temporary job was more than 5 years. So they were hard years of hard routine and a lot of work. But it was very worthwhile.
Well, she was able to get ahead despite all this pressure. Now every time she comes home she feels a little better every time she sees her daughter a little bigger and happier thanks to all her effort, it is as if that little moment paid off all the effort and work. Some would say that she recharges her batteries and in reality it is just like that. But all these years of effort have also brought her another reward. Her daughter saw her play every day to practice. And it seems that she ended up liking playing the piano too. A few days ago Rosemary saw her trying to play one of the songs that she had been practicing for a few days and saw that she could play some notes. That made her very happy because who knows, Tifany may end up being a great pianist.
It is true that the work is not finished but there is one thing that is certain: all the effort when used for a good purpose is very worthwhile and Rosemary is seeing it firsthand. Perhaps everything happened in a way that was not the best, but she knew how to adapt to the change and overcome it. Soon she will be able to start her career as a pianist again in style, but now in the company of her daughter. One day they will be a great team of pianists.
