Nothing is more fun than a multi-pack opening. Except for hunting Vampires of course. Therefore the most fun thing of all should be opening multiple packs in search of Vampires, right?
There is a new Special Mission at #RisingStar right now that ties in with the spooky season - a Vampire Hunt! This is my first special mission season since achieving Starbits Millionaire, so I feel like I can grind a bit less and have a bit more fun (and to be honest, I need more fans and am feeling too lazy to keep trying to buy individual cards!).
If you have not had the chance to play, Rising Star is a mission-driven card collecting game where you try to help your musician work their way up from illegal street busker to full on star. If you would like to sign up with a referral link, you can use mine here.
As I already said, I need more fans, and with Vampire Hunt on, who knows, maybe I will get lucky and get both fans and the card that unlocks the mission: Old Blud!
Below I will show images of the three cards in each of the 12 packs I bought for 100,000 Starbits, along with the value in Starbits of the highest value card. When you get 12 packs at a time, you need your average card value to be over 8000 Starbits to break even. Last time I did this, I really only got back 80-something % of the cost of the packs, so I hope I get a bit more lucky this time, and can begin my Vampire Hunt!
Best Card Value = 6546
Best Card Value = 6644
Best Card Value = 3041
Best Card Value = 6725
Best Card Value = 3459
Best Card Value = 10114
Best Card Value = 7213
Best Card Value = 3150
Best Card Value = 6000
Best Card Value = 0 ...well that's awkward
Mwah-ha-HAaaaaa! There he is the Ol' Dirty Bloodsucker! The value of this card will obviously change quite a lot as more people find them in packs, but for right now, and for one of the only times in my sad, unlucky life, I had a good result from buying packs!
Best Card Value = 0 for Old Blud, 29670 for Clark (that can't last, I am sure)
Whoa! Twin Vampire Clones!! Scary!! This is by far the best pack I ever opened in Rising Star, with the special mission card and a Rare on top of that.
Best Card Value = 0 again
Nice! I hope! The vampires can create their own Power Trio! Concept albums will make an undead comeback for sure!
If we look past the Vampire Power Trio and Clark at just shy of 30000 Starbits, you can see that it would have been a pretty disappointing pack opening. That kind of pack opening would be very typical for me. I never pull Elites or Legends. Never. But maybe there is hope for this pack opening. At the same time, if I want to sell these cards, the current Market value of 0 Starbits will need to find its feet. At the moment, the Rising Star site says that only 55 of these Old Bluds have been opened from packs so far. So, my next job will be to look more closely at how to combine the cards to create the cool animated version (I will start by looking at the official announcement here)(spoiler alert: more than I have!), and to keep an eye on the market prices to see if it makes more sense to blend cards or to sell two of my Old Bluds.
And of course, I need to do the Special Mission!
Now where are those Vampires?????
