Introduction
It is nice to reflect and share lyrics, it makes us consider what we were actually writing about. Now this is a dark and swampy tune with a big bottom end! There is quite a lot of vocal work in the backing track. Lots of beatboxing and little touches that if you listen to carefully you will hear. You might need to turn it up a bit more though....
The Song
This is not a positive song. On the surface it is about us being bossy or telling people what to do. They do call me the bossy one in the SUB's, I mean if you had to focus all the SUBs you would be bossy too, probably need @traciyork to help. Anyways this is not a song about being bossy to others, this is about the internal dialogue you have with yourself.
This is about a reacting to hard times, this is when you are telling yourself you are worthless. This is the voice in your head that is so mean and nasty to yourself in those lowest of points. I mean I have said to many people you would not be as negative to someone else as you are to yourself. So this is a song of when things are dark and you need to pick yourself up off the floor no matter how hard it gets. So on this level it is a song of hope, when you are at the bottom you can only go up....its the only way.
