I have to admit that I didn't pay attention to those things in the past... I would give away my power to others, which usually meant that they would "rule over me"... Luckily, when I joined HIVE, one person that I met here was talking a lot about empowering others, which is a completely opposite thing! I suppose I had a similar childhood to your friend, where my father would take over all of us... Realizing that there is the opposite world, where you can empower others was completely strange for me, but I wanted to learn more about it!

So, here we are... Hive is a perfect place for practicing that! To empower others as that benefits not just them, but also us, and the whole platform in general!

Your post is a perfect example of that... You wrote about an "uncomfortable" topic, raising questions, making readers more aware of the importance of power, and changing habits and ways of thinking...
