• 2021 Cayman Islands 1 oz Silver Marlin Coin •
Back in my local coin shop on this rainy day. The clerk recognizes me now. I tend to become a "regular," be that at the coin shop, the coffee shop, or the gas station; I like to go to the same places. I've seen baristas years after I've moved out of a neighborhood. The nod, the smile, the moment of "How do I know you?", the mutual appreciation, it's nice. It doesn't take much to be a good customer in most situations. Often it seems to be more about seeing people than it is about being a big spender. I suppose it depends.
Clerk: "I'm buying one myself. I've been here for ten years and never seen one of these."
Me: "Can I take a look?"
It cost $27.
Prices online seem to be $35-50.
The water ripples are very nice.
Let the water flow.
(Today's spot price is around $25. I am not a financial advisor, and this is not financial advice.)
Be well.
