Why not share a little gold on a #sublimesunday.
This is a quarter ounce gold 2023 Somalia Elephant coin. Monument Metals was running a pre-sale on them for a really good price at the time.
The designs change every year on this series, which I am a big fan of.
So I finally added a little bit of gold.

I wanna get more 1/4th ounce Gold myself. I was never that interested but the functionality of them and the 1/10th’s the size of dimes maybe useful one day if traveling and needing to mix with coinage 😉
I just picked up some silver instead even though gold was to be next but a deal fell in my lap so had to take it!
Unless you can get 1/10 ounce at a great price, I’d stay away from them. The premiums are ridiculous an ounce of gold buying 1/10 oz is like $2,500-2,600 for an ounce. Stupid.
1/4 oz if you find a good deal will be between $2,075-$2,150, big difference.
I am a big fan of coin designs that change yearly also but so far I have only stacked silver. One day I may start stacking gold but for now the price is a bit out of my range.
