¡Hola a todos!, soy Joliannys Giménez. Nací el 9 de Febrero, desde siempre he vivido en la Guaira, Venezuela. Soy egresada del Colegio "Santa Ana" en el año 2022. Vengo a contarles un poco de mi vida y las circunstancias que he pasado para llegar a lo que soy hoy en día, para comenzar entre la introversión y la extroversión; suelo tener una personalidad como la primera, a diferencia que cuando entablo una amistad o se presenta un cierto período el cual aumenta mi confianza con equis persona, me siento más libre y puedo ser más extrovertida y exponer mi personalidad.

En mi infancia no tenía claro exactamente que quería para mí futuro y lo que deseaba ser, es normal ya que lógicamente era una niña pero, la mayoría de niños en ese entonces decían por ejemplo: "¡Quiero ser doctor! O ¡Yo quiero ser policía!", en cambio yo... solamente decía que no quería ser nada. Tuve mi sueño claro a los 11 años cuando ví la serie Violetta de Disney Chanel la cual me hizo descubrir que Cantar es lo que soy, por esa razón es una de mis series favoritas y la que marco mi niñez, me hizo entender que me quería dedicar a la música desde ese entonces, pero cuando le comentaba a mis padres; ellos no obstante me ignoraban. Me encanta la música, es una de mis pasiones, cómo dije anteriormente. En cuestión de géneros me gusta: El pop, la balada, el R&B y balada/pop, siento que la unión de esos dos hace una instrumental cálida y refrescante, me gustaría entregar mi pasión hacia la música a Dios y ser Adoradora (Ya que soy cristiana). Además aprender a tocar guitarra y tener mi propio grupo donde también pueda vocalizar.

*Hello everyone, I'm Joliannys Giménez. I was born on February 9th, I have always lived in La Guaira, Venezuela. I graduated from Colegio "Santa Ana " in the year 2022. I come to tell you a little of my life and the circumstances I have gone through to get to what I am today, to start between introversion and extroversion; I usually have a personality like the first, unlike when I make a friendship or there is a certain period which increases my confidence with a certain person, I feel freer and I can be more extroverted and expose my personality.

In my childhood I was not clear exactly what I wanted for my future and what I wanted to be, it is normal since logically I was a child but, most children at that time said for example: "I want to be a doctor! Or "I want to be a policeman!", but I... I just said that I didn't want to be anything. I had my dream clear when I was 11 years old when I saw the series Violetta of Disney Chanel which made me discover that Singing is what I am, for that reason it is one of my favorite series and the one that marked my childhood, it made me understand that I wanted to dedicate myself to music since then, but when I told my parents; they nevertheless ignored me. I love music, it is one of my passions, as I said before. In terms of genres I like: pop, ballad, R&B and ballad/pop, I feel that the union of those two makes a warm and refreshing instrumental, I would like to give my passion towards music to God and be a Worshipper (Since I'm a Christian). I would also like to learn to play guitar and have my own band where I can also vocalize.

Además de mi sueño, con el transcurso de los meses, me inscribieron en natación en el cual dure aproximadamente dos años, debido a que sufría de las adenoides tuvieron que sacarme. Al comienzo no me gustaba, además me habían inscrito solo porque una amiga estaba allí y quería compañía, pero al pasar el tiempo le empecé a sentir amor y cada día intentaba superarme, estuve hasta el grado más difícil pero también se me dificultaba cada vez más debido a mi enfermedad; en ese entonces, estuve en varias competencias y gane todas en primer lugar, eran logros cumplidos, pero...no era mi pasión. Siempre le decía a mis padres que eso no era algo que me apasionaba, pero solo me inscribían en lugares los cuales no me gustaban pero si aprendí bastante de ellos. Tres años después me inscribieron en un curso de dibujo, ese si fue porque yo lo pedí, además, una chica, la cual era mi mejor amiga en ese entonces se había inscrito conmigo, siendo totalmente honesta ese curso fue el peor de todos, no aprendí absolutamente nada, solo algunos tips y fueron los que utilizaba en ese entonces para perfeccionar mis dibujos.

Actualmente no dibujo, ya que en ese tiempo lo hacía como distracción y no como hobbie, mi estilo favorito era Anime, ya que en ese entonces, cómo en la actualidad, soy fanática. Hacia máximo seis dibujos al día y los llevaba a mi colegio para regalarlos, actualmente me arrepiento de no a verlos vendido, ¡Fuera echo una fortuna!, pero bueno. Además de los animes, me gustan mucho los K-dramas, no los observo tanto como los animes, pero si me gustan mucho.

In addition to my dream, as the months went by, they enrolled me in swimming in which I lasted approximately two years, because I suffered from adenoids they had to take me out. At the beginning I did not like it, besides they had enrolled me only because a friend was there and wanted company, but as time went by I began to love it and every day I tried to improve myself, I was up to the most difficult grade but it was also more and more difficult due to my illness; at that time, I was in several competitions and I won all of them in first place, they were accomplished achievements, but...it was not my passion. I always told my parents that it wasn't something I was passionate about, but they only enrolled me in places I didn't like but I learned a lot from them. Three years later I was enrolled in a drawing course, that was because I asked for it, besides, a girl, who was my best friend at that time had enrolled with me, being totally honest that course was the worst of all, I learned absolutely nothing, only some tips and they were the ones I used at that time to perfect my drawings.

Nowadays I don't draw, since at that time I did it as a distraction and not as a hobby, my favorite style was Anime, since at that time, as nowadays, I'm a fan. I used to draw up to six drawings a day and I took them to my school to give them away, nowadays I regret not having sold them, I made a fortune, but well. Besides anime, I really like K-dramas, I don't watch them as much as anime, but I like them a lot.

Soy una persona muy inestable, me aburro muy rápido de las cosas y por eso no me gusta nada referente a tatuajes o piercings (claro, en mí), porque siento que si me hiciera uno, a los días o meses ya no me gustaría y quisiera quitarlo, entonces, ¿para qué vivir ese dolor si puedo simplemente no hacerlo?, Relacionado con lo que dije actualmente, he paso por muchos cambias de looks ya que no me gusta el cabello de la misma forma, pero eso lo hablaré a más profundidad en mi siguiente Post.

Viaje en el 2019 a Colombia y fue una experiencia muy loca, me sorprendí por el idioma, la cultura y muchas cosas más, pero solo puedo decir: nada como la arepa Venezolana, jajaja, fue de un día el viaje pero demasiado agotador ya que fue por vía terrenal, pude conocer otros estados de Venezuela durante el viaje y a muchas personas cariñosas las cuales nos acompañaron en el proceso, hubo un momento donde me perdí y les juro que fue HORRIBLE, y justo faltaban cinco minutos para devolvernos de retorno a nuestro país, pero un Colombiano nos ayudó a mi familia y a mi, fue bastante random.

I am a very unstable person, I get bored very quickly of things and that is why I do not like anything related to tattoos or piercings (of course, on me), because I feel that if I did one, a few days or months later I would not like it and I would like to remove it, so why live that pain if I can just not do it, related to what I said today, I have gone through many changes of looks because I do not like my hair in the same way, but I will talk about that in more depth in my next post.

I traveled in 2019 to Colombia and it was a very crazy experience, I was surprised by the language, the culture and many more things, but I can only say: nothing like the Venezuelan arepa, hahaha, it was a one day trip but too exhausting since it was by land, I was able to meet other states of Venezuela during the trip and many loving people which accompanied us in the process, there was a moment where I got lost and I swear it was HORRIBLE, and just five minutes left to return us back to our country, but a Colombian helped my family and me, it was pretty random.

Vivo con mi hermana mayor y mi papá por circunstancias personales desde el 2020 en pandemia. Nos mudamos incontables veces y la verdad era una experiencia la cual nunca pensé vivir, ahora; en la actualidad, estamos viviendo en casa de una Tía, agregando a mi abuelo y mi primo viviendo con nosotros desde hace poco. Tengo un gato llamado Puchungo y tiene dos años con nosotros, anteriormente no me gustaban mucho los gatos, pero al compartir mi día a día con el animal, pude entablar un gran sentimiento hacia él y ahora es parte de mi familia.

Estoy estudiando en la Universidad del Caribe, La Marítima; en la cual elegí la carrera Administración. Seleccioné esta carrera, pero no me gusta del todo, soy pésima con los números, lo hice por el echo que era la más accesible en ese entonces. Cómo dije en ese entonces, si sueño es estudiar música y en el nombre de Jesús, sé que lo haré.

I live with my older sister and my dad due to personal circumstances since 2020 in pandemic. We moved countless times and the truth was an experience which I never thought to live, now; currently, we are living in an Aunt's house, adding my grandfather and my cousin living with us since recently. I have a cat named Puchungo and he is two years old with us, previously I did not like cats very much, but by sharing my day to day life with the animal, I was able to establish a great feeling towards him and now he is part of my family.

I am studying at the University of the Caribbean, La Marítima; in which I chose the career Administration. I chose this career, but I do not like it at all, I am lousy with numbers, I did it because it was the most accessible at that time. As I said back then, if I dream is to study music and in the name of Jesus, I know I will do it.
