Hello and Welcome to a new Episode of my Splinterlands Fanart Series.
Today we will take a closer look at "Franz Ruffmane"
The Lore:
"Franz Ruffmane has served as the commander of the Prideheart Valiants for many years and is an intrepid and powerful leonine with a natural ability to lead others and a charismatic personality that inspires them to follow. His silver and gold armor is endowed with potent life magic that protects both him and his allies, and like all Prideheart Valiants, he carries a two-handed warhammer passed down through the ranks as warriors retire or fall in battle."

The Card:
This Rare Light Summoner from the Chaos Legion gives +1 shield to all of your monsters and allows you to use +1 additional Gladiator Card in this battle.
The Art Style:
You know already i really like this detailed Artstyle of all Soulbound Reward Cards. The Armor set is well thought through and the character pose is powerfull.
Fun Fakt:
When comparing the Character design from the Card and that one from the Lore page you can see that they have different colors schemes. But besides this, there are other differences in the details. For example the sledgehammer and the belt.
...Now let`s jump to work!
This is the last Summoner Card from the Soulbound Set i havent done a Fanart.
My goal will be to stay close to the original and incorporate the armor and character details into my style.
Here is my interpretation of the "Kelya Frendul"

Lets take a look at the Illustration Process:
The first sketch i do is always very rough. It is only a guideline for me what shape and proportions my illustration will have.
In the second step i work on a clean sketch with some more details. This two steps makes it easy to finish a clean and detailed lineart.
Now it's time for adding the shadows in a new painting layer. First working on big shapes then working on smaller ones and blend them all together.
Now its time to add the colour pallet in another layer. At last step the very important highlights and effects are added and everything is polished with much care about details.
•All painting work was done on Ipad with Procreate.
•Video editing done with Luma Fusion
Until next time!
