For this weeks contest I am going with the Frost Giant, this is a character that I have never attempted before, but now that I have discovered new technology and techniques I decided to give him a try.
This is the image that I used for my reference and as usual I used Poser13 To create my piece.
I started out with this 3D model that I created from my reference image.
I found a really nice icey texture and applied it to him.
The model had no eyes, so I used two ball props, with a material to make them glow.
I wanted the scene to look more artsy, so I added a cold fog to the background, and blue lights.
Then I added some energy sparks to give the scene a little extra something something.
It took quite a few redo's but I finally got it the way I wanted. I really
enjoyed working on this cold guy, because he looks pretty cool lol.
