Introduction
Hey everyone. I thought I would write a short post about some of my favorite Splinterlands cards I own in my collection. The key phrase is "own". There are a bunch of cards I like, but do not own. So I'm just going to list the ones I like playing and that have gotten me many wins.
Fire - Caladum
This guy right here has gotten me quite a few wins. This legendary beast of a card did lots of damage with it's high magic attack. A bit on the slow side but it makes up for it with its resistance to magic attacks. I was very fortunate to get this in a pack opening.
Water - Torhilo The Frozen
A big tank that I've used in first position many times that can give big damage and also take it, especially from magic attacks. It holds up while your back row cards can do damage.
Earth - Wood Nymph
Early in my Splinterlands journey, I realized I desperately needed a healer. One of the few cards I purchased off the market was this one. I got a lot of wins by the simple fact of healing my tank in first position.
Life - Divine Healer
This is the first ever card I purchased off the market. Again, I really needed healers if I was going to make any progress. Luckily I picked this Alpha edition at a great price.
Death - Grimm Reaper
With it's ability to do a good amount of damage and hit an enemy with affliction, this card has server me well. One of my go-to backrow choices.
Dragon - Dragon Jumper
Another back row card that does major damage and awesome to play in earthquake matched. It's high speed level gets you off to a fast start in any match I've used this in.
Neutral - Goblin Mech
One of my earliest go to tanks to play in first position. Once I got this card my wins started to amass very quickly. Was lucky to grab this one off the market at a really low price at the time.
Conclusion
Well those are my favs that I own in my collection. We'll see what happens with the actual Splinterlands game. Hopefully it stays on Hive, but I doubt it. From my experience once projects give ultimatums of fund of or we leave, most of the time they just end up leaving.
So I thought I would document my favorite cards incase I decide to liquidate them all. Happy gaming
