Many of you may already know the Goblin Psychic as it belongs to one of the most used decks nowadays which is the earth deck and with the Obsidian summoner it becomes even more powerful, but maybe you don't believe me so I'll show it in battle field.
But first, as Goblin Psychic is the card of the day, so I'll talk a little about him and his abilities.
The first thing to say about the Goblin Psychic is that it is a magic card so it can already be considered a positive point since the magic attack directly attacks the enemy card's health ignoring shields.
In addition he has 4 different skills, the first of which is Tank Heal and this skill makes the Goblin Psychic heal the first position card based on its maximum health and the minimum it heals is 2, so it will be a lot useful in battles as it is a great skill to help others on the field.
The second skill is Affliction and it makes the Goblin Psychic have a chance to cut the healing of the card he attacks, so if he attacks and this effect is applied the hit card will not be able to heal or receive healing.
Its third skill is Silence and it reduces the magic attack of enemy cards by 1, so it's a good skill to decrease the attack of magic cards that are usually very offensive as they directly attack the card's health.
And his last skill is Dispel which I don't find very useful since it only cleans the positive effects of the enemy card that attacks, so it depends a lot on the card that is attacked.
Now I will talk about a good choice of cards to use with the Goblin Psychic.
As I really like to focus on the offensive so the Obsidian summoner will be a great choice for this battle as she will grant +1 magic attack to the magic cards and that includes the Psychic Goblin and others I chose.
I also choose the Stone Golem because it will be a good defense in the first position as it has the Shield ability that reduces the damage received from melee attacks and ranges and in addition it will also have the support of the Goblin Psychic to heal it.
For the second position I put the Minotaur Warrior which has a low mana cost so it is a good choice for battles like this and also has a good attack and speed in addition to having 1 shield to help defend yourself so it will be a good card to have in case the Stone Golem is defeated and it also has the Reach ability that allows it to attack from that position.
In third position we have Regal Peryton who has a lot of speed and also magic attack so it will be one of the most offensive attacks on the team and he also has the Fly ability that makes him have a chance to dodge the attack of cards that don't have the ability Fly so he won't be defeated so easily.
In fourth position is the Magic of the Forest which will be the biggest attack of the team and it has no skills but this is compensated by its high attack and low mana cost.
The Goblin Psychic occupies the fifth position and he will be the support of the team, in addition he has a good attack thanks to the Obsidian summoner but unfortunately a low speed, but his usefulness in this battle is indispensable.
In sixth position we have the Mushroom Seer, in addition to dealing damage, will also play an important role with the Silence skill that reduces the magic attack of the magic cards and as the enemy team has a lot of them, it will be very useful.
Now let's go to battle.
As I mentioned before in the Mushroom description, the enemy has a lot of magic cards so it will basically be a battle between mages but I have the advantage of having a card with the ability Silence that reduces magic attack, but on the other hand my enemy has the Unicorn Mustang with the Void skill that reduces magic damage taken and I have the Stone Golem where its Shield skill isn't going to be very useful.
Thanks to the Mushroom Seer's ability that reduces the enemy's magic attack, I didn't lose any cards in this round as it depends a lot on magic cards. And on the enemy side there was a casualty that was the Mycelic Slipspawn that took all the damage because of the Taunt skill.
In the second round most of the enemy's cards were eliminated and I lost the stone golem, but there were only 2 cards left on their field and they don't have enough attack to win the battle on their own so soon after I defeated them and got the victory.
If the Goblin Psychic was level 7 with the Silence skill I probably wouldn't have lost any cards, but even so at level 5 he is a great support that helps you a lot in battles so don't waste time and start using him in your battles.
Since you know him on the battlefield then how about knowing his story too?
The Magi Tower is where Goblins go to learn how to use psychic abilities. It isn't just a gift Goblins can learn, but due to the proximity of Gobson, Goblins tend to show up more frequently. The Magi who calls the tower home, enjoys teaching the art of using one's mind to move objects and read thoughts. Goblin Psychics use their abilities to perform work in Gobson or become adventurers and practice to become a full fledged Summoner.
Shami concentrated his mind on moving the paintbrush. It sat on an easel in front of a large canvas, paints of various colors lay before it. The paintbrush sat still.
“You need to focus. Just breath. Relax. Picture the brush as if it were in your hand. Then imagine yourself painting the canvas.”
The Magi's voice flooded Shami's mind, though he was used to the noise. Growing up in Gobson, the noise of cogs and gears was constant in the laboratories and buildings within the city. He imagined himself lifting the brush with his left hand, raising it to the canvas, and painting the picture he had studied for hours. The Magi's Forest.
He thought of a great forest of vivid greens and plants. Deer and rabbits running throughout the bushes. A massive stone tower rising into the clouds. He saw it clearly in his mind's eye and he drew it.
The brush lifted as if held by a master artist and danced across the canvas.
“Open your eyes.” The voice of the Magi came again.
Shami blinked his eyes open and after the blur faded, he stared at his creation. On the canvas was a stone tower rising for miles out of a great green ocean of trees. The Magi revealed a similar canvas and held them together. A plaque beneath the painting read, The Magi's Forest. Both were nearly identical.
