So lovely people in the Splinterverse it is again a new week and again time to talk about the Splinterlands and share a battle. Still no real news from the team came to my ears - although the year is not that new, anymore.
My car is still in the garage for repairs, so probably more time to stay at home and write!
Ruleset of this week is called "Born Again". The rules are rather simple. Again all units receive a new ability called "Rebirth" which makes the following regarding to description: "All units receive the Rebirth ability which allows them to self resurrect once."
But beware they return with only 1 HP.

The lineup. This time I did not really go with my beloved magic attack setup, but entered the battle more oriented towards melee attack
My opponent however went with several units posessing special abilities and a dragon+water splinter setup.
The first activations in Round 1 already saw my Mycelic Morphoid in the backline leaving the field... and returning thanks to "Born Again" ruleset. So he was good to sting more of my enemy's units with his "Thorns" ability.
What I consider worth mentioning is that my opponnent's Kra'ar Xoc (dragon splinter) unit profited extremely with his "Scavenger" ability by all the resurrections. Just look at his health!
Still I managed to take a lot of units off the board. At least once...
until my Kron started to fail at my opponent's Noa the Just with his epic initiative. Kron has no magic attack that could always hit...
...and well my Kron did not make it. In the end my Kron was beaten by the remainder of my opponent's team.
Did "Born Again" ruleset play a role in this loss of mine? -Certainly!
I managed to beat my opponent's unit that was the most dangerous to my lineup off the board, once. But twice was too much for my units to bear and I lost this match.
My personal conclusion: 1) With "Born Again" ruleset you have to beat your opponent twice. 2) Magic attack never misses, irrespective of your opponent's unit's initiative!
