At long last, I have successfully rented the very first neutral summoner, "Lux Vega" and had the privilege of utilizing him in my battles. With his help, I was able to reach the coveted Champion League, specifically, Champion 2. It was an enjoyable and thrilling experience, and I couldn't have done it without him.

Moreover, I'd like to extend my gratitude to @NFTy Arcade for allowing me to borrow a max deck in modern format, which undoubtedly contributed to my success in the higher league. It was truly an amazing opportunity to have access to such powerful resources, and I'm grateful for the chance to compete at the highest level.

CHALLENGE RULES
RULESET: Back to Basics
Description:
Monsters lose all abilities.
Summoner effects are still active

The question on everyone's mind is, who will emerge victorious in this unique and challenging battle?

The upcoming battle will be following an unconventional set of rules, with Odd Ones Out, Back to Basics, and Aim True as the guidelines. In addition, there will be a 38 mana cap and players will be utilizing different splinters such as fire, water, life, and dragon.

The Line Up:

SUMMONER:

The summoner I've chosen for this battle is an incredible asset, particularly when it comes to these specific rulesets. This is due to the fact that he provides a significant boost to the speed, armor, and health of all monsters. This allows them to attack first, with the added benefit of being protected by armor and having extra health for sustainability.
In many ways, this summoner is similar to "Kelya Frendul," but with additional abilities and more mana at his disposal.

FIRST POSITION:

My decision to place "Hardy Stonefish" in the first position of my lineup was a strategic one. This monster was specifically chosen to serve as a tank, absorbing damage and protecting my main damagers who deal magic damage. Although this monster can also attack, it is highly susceptible to magic damage.
While placing "Hardy Stonefish" in the first position could be considered a risky move, it ultimately proved to be successful in this particular battle. By doing so, I was able to ensure that my other monsters were shielded from harm, allowing them to deal significant damage without being prematurely eliminated from the battle.

SECOND POSITION:

Similar to "Hardy Stonefish," "Chaos Agent" was also selected as a secondary tank in my lineup. However, what sets this monster apart is its ability to negate magic, melee, and ranged attacks, potentially dealing damage in return if the enemy misses.
This unique card proved to be a valuable asset in this particular battle, especially when facing magic damage. It was the perfect choice to ensure that my monsters were well-protected and that any missed attacks were met with swift retaliation.
Overall, "Chaos Agent" is a highly desirable card that should not be overlooked when building a deck for these types of battles. Its versatility and defensive capabilities make it a must-have for any serious battler.

THIRD POSITION:

In the third position of my lineup, I've placed "Nerissa Tridawn" for its impressive combination of high health and magic damage. This monster is a valuable asset for its dual role as a tank and damage dealer.
I strategically positioned "Nerissa Tridawn" in the third spot because it needs to absorb damage after "Hardy Stonefish" and "Chaos Agent" have been taken down. As the main tank and primary source of damage for my team, this monster's ability to sustain damage for a longer period of time can make a significant difference in the outcome of the battle.

FOURTH POSITION:

For the fourth position in my lineup, I opted to include "River Hellondale," a monster with a unique ability and decent magic damage. I positioned this monster next to "Nerissa Tridawn" to further increase its survivability and sustain in battle.
Since my strategy revolves around prolonging the lifespan of "Nerissa Tridawn" as my main tank and damage dealer, I needed a monster with resurrecting abilities to support it. "River Hellondale" was the perfect choice for this role, as its ability to resurrect fallen monsters can turn the tide of the battle in my favor.

FIFTH/LAST POSITION:

To complete my lineup, I included "Venari Wavesmith" in the fifth and last position. This monster's ability to add two armor to the team is crucial in my strategy of sustain and increasing the team's tankiness against melee and ranged attacks.
With the plus three armor from the summoner and "Venari Wavesmith," as well as other monsters with their own armor, my team is heavily protected against physical damage. This makes my lineup a formidable force to reckon with, as it can withstand even the strongest melee and ranged attacks from the opposing team.
Overall, "Venari Wavesmith" is an important addition to my team, providing much-needed armor and contributing to the team's overall tankiness and survivability in battle.

Did my strategy works?

By utilizing monsters with high health, armor, and resurrecting abilities, I have created a team that can survive even the most challenging battles. Additionally, the positioning of my monsters, with two tanks in the first two positions and a damage-dealer in the third, ensures that your team is well-protected and able to deal damage at the same time.

Ultimately, the success of my strategy depends on many factors, including the specific ruleset and the abilities and positioning of my opponents' monsters. However, based on my lineup, it seems like I have an emerging victory in battle.

Short Summary:
In summary, the lineup consists of a tanky team with a focus on sustain and survivability. The summoner, "Lux Vega," provides additional speed, armor, and health to all monsters. "Hardy Stonefish" and "Chaos Agent" serve as primary and secondary tanks, respectively, while "Nerissa Tridawn" is the main damage dealer and tank. "River Hellondale" has a resurrecting ability, and "Venari Wavesmith" adds additional armor to the team. The overall strategy is to withstand physical damage and magic damge and outlast the opponent in battle.

I have some helpful tips for those who are interested in improving their battle skills. Have you heard of Splintertools? It's a platform that allows you to review your past battles, analyze your team's performance, and make adjustments to improve your win rate. Although it's not a hack for battles, it can definitely help you become more skilled in battles.

Reminder: Accuracy on the win percentage is not 100% sure.
