With the arrival of chaos legion, many interesting and useful cards emerged and there is one in particular in the death deck that is excellent for defending and dealing damage, this card is Cursed Windeku and today I will talk about it to you and show its usefulness in battle which is just incredible.

I know Cursed Windeku looks scary but I have no doubt that he will be a great ally for your battles because on the battlefield he proves to be an amazing card and I will start by talking about his stats and abilities.

As shown in the image above it is a rare card from the chaos legion edition and if you are looking for a card that is great for battles and also an investment with great potential, the Cursed Windeku is a great card to keep an eye on. But let's talk about its stats and as you can see it is a melee type card that has 6 mana cost and its attack is reasonable which makes it even more interesting because it will have one more function besides defending, its speed It's not high but I don't consider it high either so I can say that it's also reasonable and its health is quite high which is excellent for the type of card it is.

Cursed Windeku has 3 abilities and I will talk about each of them below.

imag 4.png

Its first ability is Thorns and this ability makes it do 2 damage whenever a melee card attacks it, so it's a great ability to damage enemy cards which makes it even better.

imag 6.png

Its second ability is Heal and it causes Cursed Windeku to heal itself based on its maximum health, so having a lot of health will be useful for defending and also increasing your healing amount from this ability and I consider it an amazing ability to have. be in the first position because cards like Cursed Windeku won't be defeated easily.

imag 7.png

Its third and final ability is Slow and it causes enemy cards to be slowed by 1, so it's the kind of ability that will help your allied cards because the less speed the enemy cards have then the greater the chances of your cards attack first.

I consider it an amazing card for both damage and defense and it will also benefit your entire team with its slow ability so it is a very interesting and useful card to have in battles.

Now let's get to the battle part, but first I'll talk about the cards I chose for her.

Now let's get to the battle part, but first I'll talk about the cards I chose for her.

As a summoner I chose Drake of Arnak which is a summoner of the dragon deck and quite useful since it grants +1 shield to all your cards on the field and this is very useful because it increases the defense of your cards against melee and ranged cards and makes Cursed Windeku an even more powerful defensive card.

In the first position we have the Cursed Windeku that I mentioned before and you already know that he is an incredible defensive card for this position.

In second position we have Spineback Wolf, which is a card with a lot of agility and can attack in second position, so it will be one of the first cards to attack and it also has the ability Thorns that will be very useful to do even more damage.

In third position we have Venari Bonesmith which has a low mana cost and the ability Life Leech which will help it a lot to have more health and also the ability Poison which will increase its damage dealt to enemy cards.

In fourth position we have Life Sapper which like Venari Bonesmith has the ability Life Leech which is very useful to increase its health and it is also a low mana cost card which makes it a good choice.

In fifth position we have Soul Strangler which is a ranged card with a lot of attack and a low mana cost, it has no ability but is a great choice to deal damage in battles.

The link to the battle is just below.

BATTLE

The enemy team also used cards from the death deck and he chose the Summoner Thaddius Brood that will reduce the health of my cards and decrease the magic attack of Venari Bonesmith and Life Sapper, but I still have more damage and the Cursed Windeku that has plenty of health and healing, and this will help a lot in battle.

The battle also has the Equalizer rule that makes all cards have the same amount of health at the beginning of the battle and this can be a disadvantage since I have 5 cards and my opponent has 6, but Venari Bonesmith and Life Sappler have the ability Life Leech which is going to be incredibly useful for battle and as I mentioned before I have more attack so that should make up for some of that disadvantage.

It wasn't an easy battle and there was a lot of damage from both sides but in the end I managed to achieve the victory thanks to Cursed Windeku's defense and my magic cards that came to life whenever they attacked and that made it very difficult for my opponent to attack. But it was a very interesting battle and it also shows that quantity is not always everything.

That was the battle I wanted to show this week for the challenge and also talk about Cursed Windeku and how amazing it is and if you still have doubts about them then I suggest you try it in battle because you will certainly never want to use another one again. defend your first position in the death deck.

LORE

Cursed Windeku are nightmarish creatures that live in the deepest and darkest woods. They hunt at night, stalking their prey before attacking with their claws, while their thorn-like horns and natural healing ability provide an excellent defense,. They exude a pungent pheromone that reduces the reaction time of their victims, often allowing the Windeku to begin devouring them before they are dead. While these lifeless creatures may appear animalistic, they are highly intelligent. They have heeded the call put forth by the Lord of Darkness. Their thirst for blood is now focused on the Chaos Legion.
“I heard it again... that rustle of brush in the darkness of the forest. No mistaking it now. Something was stalking us.

I picked up my pace and urged Grewa to do the same. We hurried through the trees toward the inn. I could hear her panting behind me. Something howled then, but not like a wolf. Like a man who has gone mad with hunger.

I lost it. I ran. Ran as fast as my legs could carry me. And when I stumbled and fell and got up again, I realized I was alone. No sound of Grewa. No footfalls or heavy breath.

I rose to my feet and walked slowly back the way we'd come. I heard a sound. A wet, tearing sound. And in the middle of trees, not twenty yards away, I saw Grewa. And I saw it.

The beast was gaunt, its skin pulled tight over its bones. It was the ash-gray color of death, with sunken eyes, like a corpse recently risen from the grave, and twisted horns. And the smell. Oh, gods, the smell.

Its lips were tattered and bloody. It was Grewa's blood. It had torn her open and was feasting on her guts. And she... she was still moving. She let out a little whimper.

And I turned and I ran until I saw your light burning in the distance, and I kept running until I burst through the door.”

The man downed the rest of his tankard of ale and stared into the empty mug. The other patrons of the inn shifted in their seats.

“He's making it up,” one said.
