The card to be given away is a level 1 Venari Knifer. This is a stong melee earth monster and can make a good tank due to it's thorns ability.
It is important to remember that the changes to DEC rewards are now in effect playing starter cards will reduce the DEC gained for winning. Owning a Venari Knifer card will allow you to avoid this penalty should you chose to play it.
Also, I quite like the design of this card.
