Hi all,

Introduction

Another post in this series. Thank you for your support in the previous posts 😊

This series intends to determine if there are other aspects of cards that may contribute to increasing its value. Based on your feedback I can focus on more/other things – so feel free to tell me where you want me to go into further detail.
I include some analysis on where the cards fit in terms of gameplay, strategy, comparison with other cards, and a market analysis of its price. Feel free to suggest what more do you want me to look into in this series, and your support is much appreciated!
In this edition I will be looking at the Supply Runner.

Gameplay Analysis

Supply Runner is a Common Neutral monster from the Chaos Legion set in Splinterlands. Its supportive abilities and balanced stats make it a versatile addition to various team compositions across different splinters.

Mana Cost: 6
Attack Type: Ranged
Ranged Attack: 1 (Level 3) to 3 (Max Level)
Speed: 2 (Level 1) to 5 (Max Level)
Health: 4 (Level 1) to 6 (Max Level)
Abilities:
Swiftness (Level 5): Increases the Speed of all friendly monsters.

Supply Runner's Swiftness ability enhances team speed, allowing allies to attack first and potentially evade enemy attacks. At maximum level, Strengthen further boosts team durability by increasing health.

Level-Based Insights

Levels 1–4:
Provides consistent ranged damage with moderate speed and health.

Levels 5–9:
Gains Swiftness at Level 5, boosting team speed and improving overall battle performance.

Level 10:
Adds Strengthen, increasing team health and enhancing survivability.

Comparative Analysis

How does Supply Runner compare to other Neutral support monsters?

Vs. Furious Chicken:
Furious Chicken is a 0-mana cost monster used primarily as a filler or sacrifice, lacking offensive capabilities. Supply Runner, with its ranged attack and supportive abilities, offers more strategic value in battles where mana is sufficient.

Vs. Creeping Ooze:
Creeping Ooze provides the Slow ability, reducing enemy speed, while Supply Runner's Swiftness increases ally speed. Depending on the strategy, Supply Runner can be more beneficial for aggressive setups aiming to strike first.

Key Takeaway
Supply Runner serves as a versatile support monster, enhancing team speed and health, making it valuable in various battle scenarios.

Synergies

Supply Runner pairs effectively with:

High-Speed Monsters: Amplifies the advantage of already fast monsters, increasing the likelihood of attacking first.
Glass Cannon Monsters: Strengthen improves the survivability of high-attack, low-health monsters, allowing them to sustain more damage.
Summoners that Boost Speed: Combining with summoners like Kelya Frendul, who increases speed, can create a highly agile team.

Ruleset Performance

This card excels in the following rulesets:

Reverse Speed: Supply Runner's Swiftness may be disadvantageous in this ruleset, as lower speed is favored.
Equal Opportunity: Increases the effectiveness of all monsters attacking the same target, making team speed crucial.
Armored Up: Strengthen adds to the increased armor, enhancing overall team durability.

Market Analysis

Historical Price Movement
Regular Foil: Currently priced around $0.015 per BCX, making it an affordable option for players seeking versatile support monsters.
Gold Foil: Priced at approximately $0.25 per BCX, appealing to collectors and those seeking increased DEC rewards.

Investment Potential
Supply Runner's neutrality and supportive abilities ensure its relevance across various team compositions and battle scenarios. Its affordability and utility make it a solid investment for players looking to enhance their decks.

Conclusion

Supply Runner stands out as a dynamic support monster, capable of enhancing team speed and health. Its versatility across different splinters and effectiveness in multiple rulesets make it a valuable addition to any player's collection.
