Radiated Brute... the Fire splinter's Reach monster. This thing can hit you from the second position! Level starts off horribly slow (great for reverse speed though!) but ramps up right away. With +2 melee, using this guy with Tarsa will make him hit HARD!
Round 1
Forgotten One is a cool card. Don't let it's low-ish speed keep you away. I really dig its high hp/armor/melee combo. This guy can be a handful in opportunity rule sets.
Round 2
Disintegrator (throwback to last week!) is holding it down in the number 3 spot. That guys's really making life hard for our water melee friends.
Round 3
Radiated Brute is doing a good job helping Forgotten One get through all that armor on Diemonshark. I like watching Diemonshark go off on its trample rampages, but that's not happening this battle. #sorrynotsorry
Round 4
Look at that! Diemonshark is down and Forgotten One still has a full tank of gas. That Deeplurker is going to be light work.
Round 5
Just handling a little more light work. It's just a matter of time at this point.
Round 6
Ahhh yes. Feasting Seaweed. Great card to use with Deeplurker for that double opportunity hit, but not this time!

So much shiny! Every little bit helps!
Looking Back At It
Forgotten One is a solid tank. I knew he was going to be hard to bring down, but I didn't expect him to last the entire battle (not that I'm complaining!). Disintegrator was a welcome addition, bringing some demoralize action to the party. I think my snipers were pretty important too. They may not have lasted the longest, but they landed some pretty crucial hits.
Lore
The spreading blight on the continent of Praetoria twisted both the land and its people.
Plants and animals were the first to become corrupted. Fungus sprouted from vegetation and gave them sentience. Animals grew extra limbs, heads, and grew to extraordinary sizes.
Then the people fell ill. Some thought it was from the plague brought about by Doctor Blight. Others thought perhaps it was from the poisonous gases that seeped from the fissures near the volcano.
Whatever it was, those who survived the sickness were changed. They mutated, grew stronger, and were filled with an uncontrollable rage. Some were unable to control that rage and went on murderous rampages. Others fought to maintain their sanity long enough to protect their family, friends, and neighbors from themselves. They fled into the Jade Thicket, where they became as feral as the wild animals of the continent.
The people of Praetoria referred to them as Radiated Brutes.
Jax no longer cared for cooked meat or clean water. He preferred his meals to be raw and wriggling.
