Rebelling on Splinterlands!!!
Rebellion Set is coming soon and the presale is currently on going so you can start buying the rebellion set now!!
The presale will run for a full month and there is less than 20 days left for you to purchase the packs.
Why buy now?
Some of you may ask, why is there a need to buy now when you cant even open it till dec or maybe even later. Wont it be better to depoly the $$$ or cash to somewhere else first to earn some quick interest first??
So this is the beauty of buying at presale.
Bonus 1: Exclusive Cards
Similarly to Chaos Edition of Doctor Blight, there are exclusive cards that you can get only during presale. They are different from milestone sale airdrop cards as those airdrop cards will be added into the packs later on. And for rebellion presale, there is no just one card, but TWO exclusive cards. You can even start getting an exclusive cards with just 10 packs purchased. Just look at the 2 exclusive cards above and you can see just how powerful they can be in your team. What is even more crazy is that they are neutral cards so they can slot into any team. Now you can have a considerable 6-mana baakjira replacement for other color.
Bonus 2: Exclusive Rebellious Title
Similarly to Chao Edition Pre sale, there are exclusive titles that you can earn when you buy during presale. Do note that only the top 250 will be issued the exclusive titles.
Currently, i have purchased up to 252 packs and i am ranking 167.
For the top 100, it is currently standing at 613 packs purchased. So it seemed very difficult for me to triple my purchases to try to get into the top 100 for the next title. And do note that these numbers will just keep increasing as people will continue to buy more during the remaining 20 days.
What I am really more worried is remaining in the top 250 leaderboard. Although the current situation is that you just need 115 packs to get into the top 250, you can see that the spread is quite thin between those 200+ rankings.
Given that there are still 200k+ packs left for presale and under close monitoring, packs are still being sold around 4k per day for the past few days, many people are fighting for the top ranks to get these titles. I would say the ranking for those 200+ would have a fierce fight and this would push up the min requirements to get the title. Even though i still have a gap away from falling out for the 250 placing, there is no guarantee that i may fall out if everyone start buying more. I will continue to monitor this situation close for the next 20 days.
Rebellion Goal
Personally, as I am part of Neoxian guild. I would indirectly plan to max out my rebellion set or at least make it to gold level. Given that it is printing at 10mil packs and also do take note that the "daily burned" packs are not fully burned away as a portion of it will be given to the dao. Therefore, there is a chance where rebellion set would also be given away for daily chest if the dao decide to use this as a reward for playing. I also foresee that tournament will also start to have rebellion set as rewards to encourage people to be more competitive and level up their cards. And what does this means is that there will be a high chance that the rebellion packs will drop in values just like the chao edition. I think the idea is to make main/core edition cards to be cheap and affordable with high print rate so that it is cheap for the public to start their splinterlands journey. And what does that also means is that it would not be wise to spend the full retail amount to get the complete set. Given that it has 96 cards, it may required 2000 packs to max the edition and that would cost like $8000. Look at chao core edition, it cost less than maybe $1k to get a max deck for now. So the trick is to wait for the price to drop to accumulate more, but the issue will come, am i willing to forgo my winning rates since i usually need max cards to play at diamond and championship leagues while i wait for months for the price to drop sufficient enough?
Chao Edition Goal
Even though it has been out for a long while, I am still working very hard to max my chao edition deck too. It is definitely not an easy journey especially now that riftwatcher is also burning at quite a significant speed. It takes a month or two before the next airdrop milestone is hit and i have to once again saved up enough to buy the airdrop cards to max it.
So far these is my progress for Chao Edition
Core - Max deck
Promo - Left Waka, very unlikely to get it cause it is pricy at $200+++
Reward - Max all the sellable reward cards. Those soulbound is the real challenge as my epic reward is leveling at a very slow pace and my luck with certain legendary reward card is just so bias. I still have 2 legendary cards with only 1 bcx while some already going to be max already. Most Rare and Common soulbounded reward cards are already just need 1 more level to max it.
Riftwatcher - Immolation is at level 3, so still need 5 more bcx to max it.
Although it seems like i only have immolation and maybe waka to build a complete chao edition deck, for the past few months, i have been diligently saving up but i only manage to get 250 packs. It is only like 1/8 away. So while saving for the immolation, i still have to save up for the next riftwatcher airdrop which requires another $200 or more, and also save up for the upcoming rebellion set. This is definitely not an easy journey but I am still enjoying thus far.
