Hive really does have it all. I can blog on my favourite social media app. Engage, message or even just meme and earn tokens to spend in my favorite web3 game.
It sounds too good to be true.
But it's not. It's the new reality on Hive as inleo add more and more tokens and chains to their offering this year. I do love stacking Hive and leo but thought that it was a great chance to increase my $SPS holdings by earning them from my hive account.

How to earn SPS?
This part is simple.
You just need to go to your settings on the inleo site and switch to the splinterlands theme. This changes your payments to SPS.
I did this a week ago and realized that it's not fully automatic for pay outs but you need to claim the rewards in this mode.
I went for the claim and followed all of the instructions.
So did it work?
Yes.
Did it work perfectly?
No.
The concept itself is brilliant. Earn in any crypto into any wallet.
The system uses the leodex tech to swap tokens cross chain and across projects which does work fairly well. In my opinion it still has a long way to go.
The idea is brilliant if they can get it to work seamlessly.
Issues:
- You still need to click to cash out. Didn't know this.
- It only converted 60 out of the 106 LEO.
- There are a few confirmations to go through.
- It took a lot more than 10 minutes. Slow for a crypto transaction.
- You need to be premium to use it.
The biggest issue that needs to be fixed first is the payout numbers which are way off. The picture says 3130 SPS but I received just 264 SPS which is the right amount but very misleading looking at what the @inleo website tells you.
Positives.
- Getting paid in SPS.
- Opens up the site to multiple other tokens.
- Generates revenue for the team.
- Very good idea when fully fixed.
Over all it's a good first attempt. I've tried to do a few transactions on leodex and have ran into a lot of issues with cross chain swaps so it's not a surprise to see teething issues. The team operate on a build now fix later mentality which is fine for our hardcore community but if they are to onboard other eco-systems i think it needs to be a better product on offer or we won't retain the new users.
Great progress on the project though and hopefully we see a fully automated seamless operation sooner rather than later.
Get active on inleo and get SPS directly into your hive wallet with no steps required. It's just a matter of time.
