Allow me to present to you my Entry for this week’s Splinterlands Challenge.
My Entry:
Vampiric Blossom
Vampiric Blossom is an earth Element with Range attack. Its ability is “oppress,” which gives it more attack power when the opponent has no attack.
Procedure
Since I’m not yet accustomed to Digital Art, I first thought of something easy to draw. Traditional drawing is different from digital drawing, so I needed to familiarize myself with the pen first.
I started by making a rough sketch of how I visualize Vampiric Blossom.
Once I established the basic outline, I began to draw out its form.
I used different colors in the outline to determine the colors I would use for each part of the character.
After completing the outline, I started coloring.
I colored gradually, filling in each part of the character with colors one by one.
I also did the shading and highlighting simultaneously.
After finishing that, I created a background for Vampiric Blossom.
I thought of a nature-themed background, with a green floor and woods in the background.
I filled in the blank area behind the character and made sure there were no blank spaces.
After that, it was almost finished, but I decided to add a bit more shading.
