Kulu Swimhunter (Level 1)

Splinter | Water |
---|---|
Mana cost | 4 |
Edition | Chaos Legion |
Ranged Attack | 2 |
Speed | 2 |
Health | 4 |
Rarity | Common |
I like to use Kulu Swimhunter in low mana battles. I think 2 speed and 2 damage is really good for 4 mana. If you are facing the Little League ruleset and Water splinter is an option than this is a must.
It is a common chaos legion card therefore everyone has it because it is part of the basic cards. I personally do own multiple copies of it, but not enough to level it up. As you can see in the table below it is a cheap card as a regural foil and not expensive as a gold foil. There are a lot of available copies at the moment.
Here comes the battle:
I was in silver 3 at the time of the battle. As you can see I had an interesting ruleset. Most of the time Little League comes with a lot of mana or more then what is used when you enter only 4 mana cost cards.
Rules:
Battle modifiers | Mana cap | Available splinters |
---|---|---|
Little League | 34 | Fire |
Holy Protection | - | Water |
- | - | Earth |
- | - | Life |
- | - | Death |
- | - | Dragon |
So what did I chose to do?
For Summoner: Kelya Frendul it will increase the armor and speed of my monsters by 1. I think it is a really good summoner for Water splinter. I really like to use it. In my opinion +1 Speed is a huge advantage.
Monsters:
- Cruel Sethropod best (at least I think) widely available tank for Water splinter with Little League ruleset. It has nice armor and health.
- Feasting Seaweed with Kelya I really like to use this card, with the +1 speed gives so much to this card. It has 2 damage and one of my favourite abilities: Opportunity. It is a must as well in Little League ruleset.
- River Nymph magic damage is always welcomed in any team besides that it has a decent healtpool at this level.
-Ice Pixie again it deals magic damage, but instead of health it has speed and speed counts in every level.
-Coral Wraith one of my favourite low cost cards from Water splinter. I was really lucky when I opened it from a pack. It has 2 magic damage for 4 mana + Sneak ability. I think it is a devastator especially in low mana battles.
-Kulu Swimhunter this weeks challenge card a very good allrounder ranger with low mana cost.

Did my strategy work?
Yes, I won the battle. I won't change anything. This was my best lineup for the given rules and they won the battle for me.
What will I try differently next time?
Given this ruleset I would not change my lineup. I know that it was a risky tactic, but sometimes you have to risk to win.
Thanks for the reading, I hope you enjoyed, see you on the battlefield!
