Hello Splinters Family

The ruleset for this week is SUPER SNEAK. Where all melee monsters gain the sneak ability. Sneak ability is when the melee attacker targets the last unit instead of the first unit. To counter this ruleset you must protect your last unit by putting monsters with thorns, retaliate, or dodge ability. The common monsters I use with sneak ability are Uraeus, Sand Worm, Vruz, Dhampir Infiltrator, Silent Sha-Vi, Dumacke Exile, Stitch Leech, Pelacor Bandith, Katrelba Gobson and Tenyii Striker.

MY BATTLE

I will present a battle entry from the Poseidar Wild Silver Invitational tournament I participated this season. This tournament had 170 participants, and I came in the 39th position.

The Battle condition is 37 mana cap The elements available are fire, water, earth, and dragon. The ruleset is super sneak, equalizer and counterspell.

I decided on Mylor to give all monsters with thorns. I anticipate a melee lineup from my adversary.

BATTLE LINE-UP

1st Position

CHAIN GOLEM - Melee attacker with the ability void and shield. Chain Golem are well-protected from both magical and physical attacks.

2nd Position

THANE NEWSONG - No attack monster with strengthen and inspire ability. All monsters should receive additional +1 life and melee damage.

3rd Position

GRUND - Melee attacker with double strike ability. The sneak feature of the ruleset allows Grund to attack in the third position.

4th Position

QUEEN MYCELIA - Magic attacker with the ability protect and amplify. All monsters receive an additional +1 armor from Queen Mycelia, who also enhances thorn damage to the enemy.

5th Position

DUMACKE ORC - Melee attacker with the ability shield and retaliate. The Dumacke Orc's retaliate ability aids in fending off the adversary's backline assault.

6th Position

MYCELIC MORPHOID - Melee attacker with the ability thorns. To defend the backline from a sneak melee attack.

ROUND BY ROUND BATTLE

ROUND 2

• No monster dies in round 1.
• Opponent Uraeus kills my Mycelic Morphoid.
• Grund kills oppoent Venari Marksrat.
• Opponent Marksrat martyr activate grant additional +1 to all stats to nearby monsters.

ROUND 3

• Grund kills oppoent Pelacor Bandit.

ROUND 4

• Opponent swamp Spitter kills my Chain Golem.

ROUND 5

• Because of the thorns, opponent Deeplurker, is killed by a direct strike from my Mycelic Morpoid.
• Uraeus also dies because of the thorns from Mycelic Morpoid by direct strike.
• Grund kills opponent Swamp Spitter.

ROUND 6

• Diemonshark dies because of the direct strike to Thane Newsong.
• The battle ended in round 6

• I've successfully carried out my strategy to use thorns to prevent the sneak. because my opponent has a larger number of melee attackers in the battle.
• The amplify of Queen Mycelia also plays a significant role in the combat by enhancing the opponent's thorn damage.
