Hello Splinternerds

Time for the SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge.

For this weeks battle challenge, we are once again back to Dragons. Dragons are amazing creatures, either they are summoners or monsters. The diversity and thrill these beasts bring into the battle is indeed unparalleled.

Dragons offers unique strategic advantage of summoning any available splinter monsters at their will. There so many dragon summoners choices one can choose from as per per battle requirement. And apart from summoning any splinter monsters, dragon monsters are also pretty amazing themselves. Dragon monsters also come with variety of traits and abilities. One can use them accordingly as per dictating battle rules and summoner traits.

Dragons always bring something extra to the battle. Looking at dragon monsters and summoners one can feel they offer a unique qualitative advantage over other splinters characters in their class.

Summoners

There are so many dragon summoners to choose among. Ranging from common to legendary class, dragon summoners covers the whole range of game battling requirement. No matter what battle conditions are, one can always find some dragon summoners matching their needs perfectly. This variety of choice and diversity make dragon splinter an omni-solution splinter in itself.

Among the 13 dragon summoners, my favorite ones are DELWYN DRAGONSCALE, DARIA DRAGONSCALE and BYZANTINE KITTY. Also 14 dragon summoner is about to be airdropped; LILY SHIELEDPAW.

Interesting Fact

Dragon splinter have more summoners than any other splinter in splinterlands. 14 Summoners!

Monsters

As far as dragon monsters are concerned, they are lesser in quantity than any other splinter. There are a total of 44 dragon monsters. But these low numbers are sufficient since monsters from other splinters are always at disposal.

Only three common dragon monsters and one summoner! I guess it is not easy for a dragon to belong to common class.

Its a hard choice when choosing your favorite dragon monster. But if I were to choose, I would go for AGOR LONGTAIL, DRAGON JUMPER and GOLD DRAGON.

Interesting Fact

There are only 3 common dragon monsters and one summoner!

Cost Analysis

Since dragons are unique and are tool of extreme utility, so naturally they always are in high demand. So the price of dragon character is always higher than characters from other splinter in the same class.

Some of the limited edition dragon summoners are most scarce and pricey in the game. e.g. maxed ARCHMAGE ARIUS is currently listed at $1,210/bcx and have a total supply of only 87.

Dragon monsters are also costly. MIGHTY DRICKEN is the most pricy guy, costing $310/bcx maxed with only 89 in circulation.

QUIX THE DEVIOUS

Since only two splinters were allowed so I decided to go with Dragon splinter. I chose QUIX THE DEVIOUS as I wanted to dent enemy speed and ranged attack.

ARKEMIS THE BEAR

Up front I used one of the best common neutral tank ARKEMIS THE BEAR. ARKEMIS THE BEAR's abilities like Protect, Halving, Forcefield and Enrage makes its a real asset in rulesets like Rise of the Commons.

ORC SERGEANT

On one down I used another common monster, ORC SERGEANT. ORC SERGEANT serves as a perfect one down monster due to its Reach and Inspire abilities.

GOBLIN PSYCHIC

On third position, I placed another earth splinter common GOBLIN PSYCHIC. GOBLIN PSYCHIC is loaded with abilities like Tank Heal, Affliction, Silence and Dispel. Sometime I wonder if it is a rare?

ULOTH DHAMPIR

Next I used a rare Riftwatcher, ULOTH DHAMPIR. ULOTH DHAMPIR heavy magic attack along with Stun and Triage makes it a perfect ranged attack monster.

VENARI SEEDSMITH

On the second last position, I used another ranged monster, VENARI SEEDSMITH. VENARI SEEDSMITH heavy ranged attack along with Poison and Scavenger makes it a real asset costing just 5 mana.

MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN

On the last position, I used my favorite Earth monster, MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN. MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN's heavy health along with Taunt ability gives it extreme utility in high mana battles.

BATTLE ANALYSIS

The battle went as planned. MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN Taunt did pretty well in attracting enemy attention while my melee and ranged monsters kept eating away the enemy tanks. Every monsters in team played their part perfectly.

Hey man, long time no see, I hope you are doing good! I noticed you used Threads back in August '22 when it was still a rudimentary interface with many bugs.

Perhaps you want to give it another try now that there's a new interface now and Threads have improved a lot: https://alpha.leofinance.io

It is still in alpha stage and in two weeks it'll move to the next stage, but it already looks amazing and the user experience is great.

It's a shame they are so expensive. They are great.
