Welcome back to a new season recap.
Season 5 Focus
= Ranked Battles + Tournaments
This season I battled in Modern league and entered tournaments with very little renting. Read below how that impacted my seasonal income.
Please let me know if there are any more insights or topics I should explore.
Thanks for reading!

Season 6
= Renting again (this time without airdrops to suppliment)!
**DEC reward cut off to better show differences in SPS and credits.
Wow.
Profits have fallen off due mostly from the Airdrop ending and not renting as much. There doesn't appear to be anything to fill the gap that the airdrop has left behind.
I may go full-rental for a while, especially next season (season 6). I will go full rental with 9 days remaining in the season and allow the rentals to stretch to the Season 7.
I still enjoy playing the game with my cards.
Entering tournaments is so much fun and Guild brawls are great.
But I need to see the extents of what this game can offer.

Let's Standardize!
Using the historical volumes combined with current USD conversion prices, we can see what each season would look like given the same conversion rates:

This just further proves my point that without the airdrop... simply "playing the game" is not as lucrative as airdrops.
There are options to enter liquidity pools, but i don't know enough to really dive in to that. (maybe your experience will differ)
What this does tell me is when I rented, i was making almost +$100 more.
This is not something I can ignore, which is why I plan to rent the next 2 seasons.
