Best Times for @splinterlands Has Arrived| Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 59 Report

in #splinterstats23 days ago

A great many things have changed since the last time I published a Season Report such as this. One of the most obvious changes is that Battles have been moved to the new codebase as a part of tech modernization. Over the past few years, the old code has been getting incremental upgrades. New Player Experience is happening alongside of tech modernization.

There will not be a single update that suddenly make the game ready for mass onboarding. What we have is a series of continuous improvements and very soon @splinterlands will be ready to kick off serious marketing campaigns.

Although my regular Battles were unremarkable, I managed to do contribute to Roaring Twenties Guild Brawls. The following results are from the last Brawl that ended recently. I am already ready for the next Brawl. The ability to submit Battles at any time is a great feature that make it an enjoyable experience to participate.

We should be able to get even more SPS + MERITS + CROWNS by advancing to a higher tier. I do think Level 10 for Arena can wait. What I want to see is more Guild members participating and earning more.

Rewards Report

Ranked Play WinsTokens Received

Season Rewards Claimed✨ 124018 Glint
Glint Spent✨ (240500) Glint

Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.

I am not sure if the Glint I earn will get me to a fully Leveled Up Collection. I could not do in for Chaos Legion Reward Cards. I am currently earning Glint at an even lower rate than I used to. What I currently aim towards is maxing out Legendary + Epic Cards. The Common and Rare Cards can wait.

SPS reached 1 cent and it has been holding itself at that level fort now. It is very likely that SPS will not fall any further. We are already up more than 140% since the All Time Low of August. Those who bought the dip should be very happy. Unfortunately I did not have any money left to invest at the time. Even now I cannot add any more into my cryptocurrency portfolio.

Rental income is mostly coming from Soulkeep Cards. The game has many things to be refines in order to be ready for mass onboarding. The core gameplay is great. It is a genuinely fun game and among the best Tower Defense games I have played. The problems arise when there are leaderboards and ability to earn financial rewards become part of the game. There is a great deal of work left to do in terms of getting the economics right and improving game stability.

The largest potential for improving SPS Rewards is in Praetoria where I have not been able to get most of my Plots to start working. There are 21 Plots that have not even been activated yet. These can be turned into passive income generators if I can collect enough DEC. The bear market is barely getting over for HIVE, SPS, LEO and many other projects. I should be able to get all the Plots working at least by Q2 of 2025.

The Abilities of new Epic Cards offer some amazing gameplay opportunities and tactics. After getting defeated by some of the Epic Cards, I have switched my attention towards getting all the Epic Cards to Level 5. That is why I am focusing on getting all 25 Epic Draws during the Season.

This purchase of 17 Epic Draws is after claiming the End of Season Rewards. I have finished with the renaming 8 now. I could use rest of the Glint Earning on Legendary Draws. I do not even have 1 of each Legendary Monster.

The better times I was speaking of have finally arrived. We can expect these good times to last another year. Taking profits is important. What is even more important is decoupling ourselves from these BTC cycles happening every 4 years. There is no need for a game to be dependent on what BTC is doing. We must go mainstream!

Happy Gaming! Happy Investing!

I have started playing again after a short hiatus.
I am noticing the new User Interface for Channels and other small changes sprinkled throughout the game. I hope things on Land get a review also.
Thanks for the Updates.

Land is very complicated and appeals to a different niche. I do not expect large changes to Land other than having some tutorials sprinkled around the UI. Land 2.0 is set to have ~50 types of resources. There are some MMO players that love this type of complexity.

Wow. I will have to figure out how to get my one piece, which is locked in limbo between regiustered and unegistered sold.

Maybe there are Bitcoin (BTC) related video games too (currently I do not know any), but Splinterlands should not depend on Bitcoin (BTC) at all. Even without being mainstream.

Its cards are NFTs. Even if they are not stored on the first layer of the Hive blockchain, but on the second layer, similarly to its tokens.
