The @buynburn account uses its HBD and HIVE rewards to buy coins on #Hive-Engine. I believe that this structure has a better impact on the Hive-O-Sphere than automated burns.
To make the program work I need to occasionally write posts to earn HBD and HIVE. I dislike automated posts; so I write each post by hand. This should qualify the post for #POB and #VYB.
I will burn the POB, CENT and VYB I earn.
For today's burn I wish to look at the SPORTS token. I wanted NightCafe to produce a picture of people playing with flaming balls. The images I created had extra limbs, distorted players, etc. I finally settled on the image above which shows a flaming coin landing in a sports field.
As for the review: Sports Talk Social is home of the SPORTS Token on Hive-Engine. I noticed that there was a large sale order on the ASK; So, I bought 29138.858 SPORTS for 0.37763960 HIVE.
That was all the money I had!
Looking at the tokens page, I saw that the token had a supply of 3,870,555,522 Coins. It was trading at 0.00001285 when I wrote this paragraph. The market capitalization would be 49,736 HIVE which would be about $15 grand in USD.
This is actually pretty good for HIVE.
I have not spent a great deal of time using Sports Talk Social. The tribe seems to sport a number of Actifit reports with an occasional report about a sporting event.
Since sporting events tend to appeal to local audiences. HIVE has a global audience; so it isn't the best forum for team news.
The richlist shows that the tribe has a decent distribution. My guess is that people who participate in the tribe are receiving a decent amount of SPORTS upvotes for their efforts.
The SPORTS tribe looks like a good investment ... especially for people trying to get fit with Actifit.
The richlist shows the tribe has burned 100,486,252,417 SPORTS so far. This shows that there is an effort to defend the value of the coin.
While writing this review, I noticed that @voice.direct is running automated posts to burn SPORTS, LEO and BUIDL.
I don't like automated posts ... even when they are for a good cause.
Some people see random posts about tribes as spam. Let me know if you think the @buynburn account is a good idea or a bad idea.
I will burn my SPORTS after publishing. Let me know which coins you would like to see put to the torch in the future.
