BATTLE WEEKLY CHALLENGE - DRAGONS

in #spt3 years ago

My unreal blaster dragon team!

Today I want to show you one of my favorite strategies combining blast, resurrection, dragons and life deck cards. A true delight capable of destroying the most powerful enemy.

As you know, I like to share really special battles, battles that make the difference between victory and defeat, and with which I hope you can learn a little more about this magical world of Splinterlands.

So here we go!

PREP STAGE

On this occasion I have to say that I have used one of my favorite summoners many times, Bloom has a lot of versatility to use very diverse strategies and my main objective was clear: to focus very hard on maximizing my blast capacity, sowing terror in his second line.

On the other hand, it is well known that dragons are very effective creatures both defensively and offensively, however, it is essential to know how to choose which ones to use depending on each battle condition. The solution to a 99 mana battle is not to randomly put legendary creatures, but to plan a winning strategy.

COMBAT STAGE

Here you can see the battle!

Battle conditions: Magic attacks armor first / 99 Mana

Understanding rival strategy
The opponent focuses on lowering my attack with Legionnaire Alvar(B) and Goblin Psychic(C), and lowering my armor with Sporcerer(D), while his last cards are very defensive. His B card is inactive until Grund(A) dies, which is very offensive but his defense is very poor.

His main defense is behind, Kron's(E) and Cornealus's (F) ability to heal themselves would make the battle longer, as well as Legionnaire's large amount of armor. In addition, LLAMA, his summoner, increases his overall life and gives the last stand ability.

The overall strategy would have improved if he had put in a more defensive tank, armor repairmen, and revivers. Grund is very unprotected as well as some second line cards.

Understanding my strategy
In a Weak Magic battle with 99 mana, armor and its repair is the most important thing, reviving cards with high armor slows down the loss of your own cards. The blast ability is one of the main keys for his armor repairmen to die in the second line. With this in mind I decided to create the following setup:

💨Brighton BLOOM: By transforming my creatures into flying creatures I will increase the chance of making the enemy miss.

Robo-Dragon Knight (1) In my first position, I needed a very defensive piece full of armor and reflexes, with its void and return fire abilities making it a very dangerous card.

Kralus (2) To secure my defensive strategy, in case my main tank goes missing, Kralus is one of the best cards in the entire game.

Adelade Brightwing (3) She has two fundamental abilities, resurrect my tank and repair his armor.

💥Dragon Chaos (4) With him begins the blast strategy, with its random and unpredictable attack, nobody wants to see it in the enemy lines. His ability to blind the opponent along with the flying ability of all my cards increases my defense even more.

💥High Priest Darius (5) Increases blast damage, reduces base amount of health, and resurrects once more. A legendary and essential card.

💥Prismologist (6) She is a very effective shield against enemies with more than 4 attack, it also increases our blast capacity.

I really don't know how I would have improved my battle setup, maybe increased armor or some creature with the Stun ability to cripple his tank.

RESULTS

The key to winning this battle was to use a very balanced setup between defense and offense, using very useful extra abilities for the occasion, such as resurrect, repair armor and the most spectacular of all: my triple blaster. Against this build it is very difficult to create another one that counteracts it. The enemy had very interesting offensive and defensive cards, but it lacked that little something extra to make a difference.👌

My experience with dragons

My experience with dragons has been very productive, I personally love these mythological creatures and being able to use them in my favorite strategy game is a pleasure. I admit that I have a major weakness with the chaos dragon, when I first saw it I just wanted to buy it and use it in all my battles, something that is obviously not possible. When the starting conditions allow it, I recommend enlisting a dragon so that the opponent knows what fear is. ò.ó

See you soon, on the battlefield and in our clan, Fallen Angels!
