I'd say for the wife and I was the time we booked the Benmiller Inn And Spa through Travala, when we were in between aptartments and we desperately needed a place to stay, we got a good deal, but it was still expensive. But hey we felt high class.
But fast forward to today, we were broke till payday, which is Friday.
I wanted to get the wife out of the house, she has been here since Weds, ahhh.
I remembered that I had some crypto, so I decided to transfer it on to a website called "spendcrypto". I have used this website a few times to get Tim Hortons gift cards because I'm a coffee addict.
After browsing through options, I found a gift card from Walmart, I am surprised they didn't have McDonalds, the wife loves McDonalds.

But at any rate, I thought it would be great to pick Walmart, because we could get some well needed groceries and other things we needed.
Excitedly, I told the wife about my plan and we set off to the local Walmart, which is a twenty minute drive through the countryside.
We got there in great time, we walked through the aisles, of course the wife wanted to look at toys first.
I can't believe how expensive trading cards are getting!
Of course we didn't buy any trading cards, but the wife became overjoyed to see Pokeman in like Carebear outfits.
And other Pokeman stuff
We finally made it out of the toy area and the wife will have to wait for payday for toys.
The time to go to the food area has finally arrived, ah man, Oreo space dunk frosted brownies, I must resist!

Here we go just what I need, my brewed coffee at my house is starting to taste like crap, this will give my coffee the flavor it needs, classic Cinnamon Roll flavor and it was on sale, I convinced the wife I needed it.
The wife ended up getting some brownies and chocolate bars for herself. After that we went to the McDonalds to get myself a cheap coffee and the wife a hashbrown!!
Then we took a nice romantic drive down to the beach
But we didn't stay there that long because the beach wifi was not working, grrr.
So we went back home and the wife feel asleep, so now I'm watching The Price Is RIght and wishing that the price of things were still that cheap as they were back in those days
