A new place not far from me, well an hour ish.
I headed to the right today, there is one main road here that follows the coastline, so yesterday I went left to Amed, today I headed right to find something new.
I passed the ATM that works and took out 5 million of the local Rupiah even though I have 4 million, seemed rude not to.
And then I found this place above, Boundalem beach club and boy was it nice, and the food was Okay but not brilliant, but cheap.
As I fritter away my days till the g20 arrives for me to cover it, I have decided after I get my next 30 day visa after this 30 days runs out (next week) that yes I am going to have 2 days in Amed, but not backpacking style, then taking a cruise to a place they call Gilly, no idea even where it is, anyway, back to today.
The villas are amazing, and 2 storey, cost? $60 a night with breakfast.
It seemed full of Women that like to dive, widowers and divorcees with plenty of cash to burn.
The chairs are awful as they are so deep, even when my buddy the Yank (er) came along for an hour or so, and he is 6 foot 3, he did not like them as he could hardly touch the floor.
French toast, poached eggs, orange juice (Ice gave me the runs again grr).....
And then a coconut, I can not go far from where I reside with a stomach like this and need to avoid ice like the plague.
It cost less than £10 including 2 beers after my American buddy arrived.
I am unsure what tomorrow brings, but know for sure I need to sort out my digestive system as this is getting tricky with not being able to travel far, and I want that cruise on the ship.
1 of the ladies at the resort, Russian I think was taunting me, smiling, while acting like she was on drugs (happy pills) while watering the garden, she stands as much chance with me as most, not a chance, happy going solo.
It was nice to see her having so much fun alone, but kind of weird too, if you get my drift.
Last night was weird as I sit outside on my laptop at night, and heard a splash in the now emptied (ish)Coy carp pond (to get rid of noisy frogs) and I heard a splash and lots of noise, it was a dog that had fallen in the stinking sludge at the bottom of it, when I got to it - it was clearly exhausted and could not get out, so I made a makeshift ramp, and as I can see no animal suffer, encouraged it to climb out, it took a while, but it tried, then I managed to pull it out neck first, I can watch no animal suffer, and if I had not, it would be dead in there today, my heart feels better, as I would not have slept.
I did stink after like the bottom of the pond, though have a shower so could shower.
Thank god for torches on mobile phones hey.
I have never seen a dog so exhausted to the point of giving up, when it tried I felt so happy, it was 1 last shot, and we did it.
Anyway, have a superb sunshine filled day, we did, with no rain for a change.
