Here's the recipe:
After you have your set up – you put the 2 coins, separated in a pint or quart jar. In a pint jar it takes an hour and in a quart – 2 hours. You don’t want anything but the silver immersed in the jar though. NOT the aligator clips or the wire because those other metals will come off and taint your silver.
You use only DISTILLED water. Every 15 min you go and wiggle the coins and move the water a little. Keep the coins separate.
The water will still be clear. After an hour- or 2 – you removed the set up, put the top on your jar and let the jar sit. It will turn amber as above. This is approximately 50 ppm Colloidal Silver.

Although the 9 volt battery set up will make several dozen batches of colloidal silver so you might want to wear it out before buying a generator just yet.
You can use finer silver – like Maple Leaf’s or go to a jeweler or ebay and get .99999 silver wire or silver ribbon.
Colloidal Gold would require 24 Karat Gold ribbon or coins.
You can store it in an amber bottle or you can store it in a clear bottle in a paper bag.
Later on you can add things like Karo Syrup and Baking Soda to the Colloidal Silver to make it more stable.
