Final, Oil on Wood, 4' x 4'. Collaboration by Joanna Whitney and Woody Martin after Meditation and Prayer and while discussing Natural Law.

Tonite we discussed white privilege, critical race theory, the inalienable right to one's own lair, and other topics while we finished up this 5-part collaboration, in which we have been asking for God's influence to tell us what we are supposed to do...

We have decided to go forward with painting and discussing Natural Law - maybe have some guests and we are considering doing Mark Passio's course - "become the true media"

that is awesome, I really like it - 4 foot by 4 foot is pretty big - how long did it take?

hi! it took about 6 weeks - at 3 hours per session. We did not record the first session when we did the drawing with sharpies unfortunately. We met every week and worked on it once a week - so it really took 18 hours. We would do prayer and meditation beforehand trying to locate what we are supposed to be doing together and it evolved into us talking about Natural Law while we paint. We would like to do it again - and have guests on maybe. But yes, the painting is quite exciting. To me it shows the chaos of this unpredictable time with a few windows into the serenity of Nature. Where we are working is a house in the mountains - where Woody grew up. His mother is an artist. They lived in this weird train-car house - where they brought an antique pullman train car up to the mountains and built a house around it. It is very creative and serene. I drive up there every Monday night, through a beautiful canyon, to get there - and it is so lovely - to be in so much Nature - it is inspiring. We really need a space that has walls if I am ever going to teach Intuitive Painting, but we could teach a f2f art class in this space - or we could collaborate on paintings as well and talk about Natural Law... it's quite inspiring.

Wow - that is some serious dedication

well, we are trying to be a part of the change - we are trying to have a business doing what we both love - art - and help people connect back to the Truth again. Also I am learning the PMA paperwork - as it is a PMA - I don't want to drop the ball on that. It would be so easy to quit doing art right now - unbelieveabley easy and I just don't want to quit so we keep meeting and trying to find our way. Being an artist and teaching art - teaching art is for money and being an artist is for my spiritual connection - I can't really charge money for it - maybe once in a while but I can't become a factory and be in the system. NO thanks.

Do you have the sense that a big shift is occurring right now and this month is going to get pretty wild? I do...

I don't know. I don't know what to believe anymore if it's not right in front of my very eyes. But we shall see.

Deb was in town today and took 90 photos of the protest - we'll post them tomorrow, here is one:
