Old Europe's rude wake up call

in #ukraine8 days ago

Shock, dismay, disbelief and lots of impotent rage. That seems to be the mood today among European globalist leaders following bombshell news that Trump and Putin are already talking about ending the war in Ukraine. The Old Continent went to bed disgruntled and woke up determined to pretend that it still matters. Like an old lady putting on a low cut dress and heavy make-up hoping that she can still make heads turn.

The EU is outraged to see they have no place at the negotiation table and vows to stand with Ukraine, even though Zelenski made it pretty clear he has no need for Europe without American support. Some went as far as calling it a mistake to concede territories before the negotiation starts. Poor idiots, the negotiation is over and Trump's emissaries are already in Kiev with the shopping list. Since there’s an arrest warrant with Putin's name on it, the Russian leader will meet Trump in Saudi Arabia, with the sinister Mohammed bin Salman playing gracious host. Europe has reason for concern. As they say, if you’re not at the table, you might be on the menu. By Europe I mean us, the people of Europe, not the corrupt Brussels bureaucrats who don’t serve us, but their globalist masters. After three years of sabre-rattling to the tune dictated by the globalists, Europe finds itself left out in the cold. Completely irrelevant. Billions of dollars Europe badly needed after the Covid nightmare were spent on a fight that everyone knew Ukraine cannot win, except for the useful idiots. Here, in Europe, we were told to stop complaining about trifles like inflation and mounting utility bills. Turning your radiators down a bit is not such a high price to pay when democracy is at stake, they told us. Think of those poor Ukrainians dying on the front lines. European economies were badly damaged by this insane war, and we won’t get nothing in return. On the contrary, we will be asked to provide troops for some sort of DMZ in Ukraine.

If you want to have some fun with the deluded European leaders reactions, just have a look at BBC's live coverage.

Obviously, the US spent considerably more to support Ukraine. But, as President Trump said, the US expects some $500 billion worth of rare earth minerals from Ukraine. Not bad, I’d say. Of course, the US will be heavily involved in the reconstruction of Ukraine. The guys at BlackRock have already secured the contract. This reminds me of what happened the last time we were dragged in a foreign war, the one in Iraq. At the end of the conflict, it was the Americans who got those juicy reconstruction contracts, not Europe.

Winner takes it all

The US and Russia emerge as clear winners in the Ukraine debacle, while European countries keep dreaming of the empires they once had, exactly like an old lady boring you to death with stories of past conquests. While America and Russia divide the spoils that will give them an edge in the technology war, our Brussels overlords are busy approving insect flour for human consumption. On second thoughts this might be wise, since we don’t matter in the AI competition and we’ve just kissed Ukraine’s minerals good bye. Beggars can’t be choosers, so we might as well get used to the taste of cockroaches.

The greatest losers are, of course, the Ukrainians. After three years of heavy bombardments and at least 45,000 troops killed (according to Zelenski, but probably way more), Ukraine will lose one fifth of its territory and won’t be admitted into NATO. So they lost territory, a generation of young men, not to mention the resources Trump wants. One could blame Zelenski for all this, but, in truth, other corrupt politicians before him wined and dined George Soros and the Bidens in Kiev long before he came to power.

Two questions remain:

What becomes of Zelenski? Not that I actually care, but it is well known that those employed by the US have a nasty tendency of meeting an untimely death. Also known as the knows-too-much syndrome.

What becomes of the millions of useful idiots who forgot Covid the moment they were told to put the Ukrainian flag on their profile pictures? I’m not worried they might be shocked to realize just how stupid they are. I’m worried what they’ll be told to believe next as it will again affect us all.

The images in this post are AI generated using Pollo and I'm not happy with them. Still, it's an experiment in using modern technology... that awkward moment when you realize that the AI doesn't know what Zelenski looks like

Absolutely hit every nail right on the head.

Thanks!

What will they be told to believe next? Bird flu anyone? A compulsory housing order for poultry has just been introduced here. Of course I immediately locked all of mine inside for the duration:)

They're already using bird flu. I was reading that in the US the price of eggs is through the roof because they've killed so many chicken on the flu pretext. Scarcity and inflation are good to distract the population, but you also need fear and hate to control the people. Especially hate, like they hated unbelievers who wouldn't wear a mask or how they hated Putin. We could of course mount a hate campaign against people like you, who keep poultry :))

Startlingly accurate assessment.
Pity so few Europeans get it, certainly the leadership class doesn't.

I'll send this post to a friend that needs it.

As if he's not having a hard enough time already. Poor Zele. Is that who the last picture is supposed to be?

yep... AI couldn't be bothered to learn about this clown
