As children of God, we should be peaceful. We should be those who make for peace. We must always do the things that produce peace. We must bring up peaceful utterances. We should be friendly and caring. We should be forgiving. That is the attributes of peaceful people. We should be peaceful neighbors. We should do our businesses peacefully. Peaceful living is what we should pursue as children of God.
Matthew 5:9 (KJV) Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
The Bible teaches us that if we are peacemakers then we are the children of God. God is the one who makes for peace. His children should be those who work for peace. We cannot say we are the children of God and keep causing problems everywhere. Let us make peace wherever we find ourselves.
The many problems in the world is caused by the devil. The devil is the father of violence and war. He set people against themselves. He plants discord in the hearts of brethren. He makes couples disagree and fight. The devil is the one who initiates troubles and violence everywhere.
Everytime we walk away from God's commandments, we will find ourselves doing the biddings of the devil. The devil wants us to ignore God’s commandments and become troublemakers in the world. That is not the will of God for us. Let us follow peace with all men.
