Hello Hivers, it is still Saturday on my side of the world, so happy Caturday to you all.
It's been four weeks since little Grogu came home. And I realized in the last few weeks since I wrote about picking his name, I haven't written anything about him.
So I thought of making a post and starting documenting his growth in the blockchain from time to time.
The last time I wrote, he didn't have a name yet. And yes, my son got his way, and when we confirmed that he was a male. My son's choice, Grogu, ended up being his name.
The first few days were a bit hard because it took a few days for him to learn to use the cat litter. And there was one corner of the living room that he particularly liked that we had to spray over and over again with vinegar until he finally gave up.
It is amazing to see how he is developing his personality and creating habits. For example, he doesn't like to be seen while eating.
The hunter's instinct is already showing, and he has already started to become alert when he hears the birds coming to our balcony.
His favorite pastime, apart from climbing on one of the sofas in the living room, is trying to play with the wires. When my toenails are painted red, he wants to play with my feet. Sheets of paper drive him crazy, and a couple of days ago, one of my notebooks kept him entertained for quite a while.
Early in the day is when he is at his most active, and after a couple of hours of frenetic activity in the mornings, he falls asleep. He use to stay for a long time on an old pouf under a table, which has become one of his favorite corners. And where he is in the photo at the beginning of the post.
His affections are also becoming more defined, and although he seems to feel comfortable with all three of us, it seems that the husband is his favorite. In the evenings, he loves to lie with him on the sofa and watch TV. And after a while, on the back or arm of the sofa, he ends up lying on the husband's belly.
It's hard to believe he's been already four weeks with us. And even though, I was a bit hesitant to let my son convince me to adopt a cat, now I can't imagine not having him at home.
In a couple of weeks, he will be three months old and we will have to visit the vet and do his vaccinations. You will for sure read more about him in the future
That's all for today, thanks for reading.
