Three opinions? They are all connected. Humans are crazy. Animals are better than humans. Crypto(Hive) could save the world but...
Let's start at the end and then we will see how this will go.
I believe that after mass adoption Crypto( Hive in particular) could end starvation. Perhaps even wars. After all it is said that:
give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime
I think that Hive is a fishing pole/fishing lesson that could feed whole masses for a lifetime. It works in a few ways. If you have the money to spare you could buy HP/ HBD and enjoy 15 percent grow just by holding HBD in Savings. But the best part is that you don't even have to be rich to get started. You just have to have some stuborness dedication and time to write posts. Either way I think you are more likely to succeed than by trusting banks that pay very small interest. In my opinion not just individuals but also entire countries should invest in Hive. If countries would start investing time and/or money into Hive we could see incredible growth. After that all investors(individuals and countries) would start to prosper. You may say ok it makes sense that this could stop starvation but how would it end wars? I think that most wars start because of humans greed and/or stupidity. So perhaps people would satisfied by their growth on Hive and would have no need to attack other countries. Of course that leaves the second reason for wars. And I am not sure that there is any hope of curing humanity from stupidity...
Animals are better/ smarter than humans because they fight/kill each other for more sensible reasons. Like because they are hungry. And if they do kill each other they don't use mass destruction weapons that kill thousands of innocent victims/ demage our planet.
Why do I think that humans are crazy? I already mentioned wars. But human stupidity manifest itself in different ways as well. @galenkp already mentioned those ways in his post. People are destroying their home- our planet. People are identifying as some BS that doesn't exist. Prices are increasing at absurd rate. Even Crypto would have hard time saving humanity because our stupidity is progressing too fast. But I am sure that nothing else is gona save the world. No prayers or gods are gonna just magically save us just because we are asking nicely. We have to put in effort and save ourselves. We already have a perfect tool(Hive) to do that but the question is are we smart enough to use it?
