 Posted In: Daily Blog | Last year, right about this time, we often visited the park at night to experience the Christmas vibe in there as early as October. We'll enjoy the "Pailaw," the night market, and the small events that take place in the plaza. We'll have our walk and enjoy some snacks. I purposely don't eat anything before coming there because I want to buy foods in the night market. I experienced buying homemade siomai in there, the cinnamon rolls with sour cream which is my first time, and those cakes in the cup, and I will also bring a takeout for the oldies. But now, I can't freely do that even when Mama asked me a lot of times already ... |

 Posted In: Deutsch D-A-CH | Das erste virtuelle Meeting war nicht 1990 oder 1970, sondern bereits 1916! Am 16. Mai 1916, um 20.30h eröffnete John J. Carty in New York ein Meeting des "American Institutes of Electrical Engineers". Es nahmen über 5100 Teilnehmer aus 8 Städten in den USA daran teil! Gesprächsthema waren Fortschritte in den Bereichen Kommunikation, Transport, Licht und Strom. Die Telefonkonferenz war ein Meilenstein in der Kommunikation selbst und in vielen Zeitungen wurde darüber berichtet (Fernsehen gab es ja noch keines) ... |
