Fungi are interesting organisms to study because they come in many different shapes and colors. One type of fungus that attracts attention is Gymnopilus liquiritiae, which is often found growing on dry wood. This mushroom has a beautiful and unique appearance, so many people admire it. Gymnopilus liquiritiae is characterized by a yellowish brown mushroom cap, with a mushroom body that grows upright like an umbrella.

When the rainy season arrives, this mushroom grows abundantly and decorates the forests with its attractive colors. However, these mushrooms are not only visually beautiful, but also have important benefits in forest ecosystems. As a fungus that lives in dry wood, Gymnopilus liquiritiae has an important role in the decomposition process.
