Hi all 😊
I wanted to share with you today my Monochrome Airbrushed Art Work of Canadian Geese at the edge of a lake and show you the a few progress steps / step by steps of how I created it. (SBS)
As this was a while ago I don’t have many steps of it I’m afraid, also because it was smaller then my usual work, so quicker finished. It didn’t take weeks or even years like my other art works.
Title: ”The Journey”
I finished this painting 11-2012 and it is one of my earlier Artworks.
I started my art in 2011, I am self taught. I love to share my progress steps of my artworks with you all and the world. 😊
This original painting is still available.
I also have all kind of prints from this painting, on different objects, if you would like a print from it have a look In My PRINTSHOP!
~The Dimensions are 30 x 50 cm / 11.8 x 19.7 inch
~Underground is an illustration board.
~Acrylic paints I am using are from Schmincke.
~reference photo used with permission from Rob.
~It depicts geese in the monochrome colour of Prussian Blue.
This artwork/the subjects are fully airbrushed with my airbrush gun and Prussian Blue acrylic paint.
Step 1
Here I started the first Canadian goose. To give you an idea of the size: the little geese will be around 5 cm big / 2 inch.
I sketched of course first the details with graphite pencil as you can see on the right, partly visible the next goose as a sketch. Then I lightly started the goose’s details.
Step 2
I airbrushed the next geese with my airbrush gun.
Step 3
Final result of this airbrush work. This is a photo taken in the evening.
As you can see I finished all 4 geese and went over every one again so the colours would be darker.
This photo is during daylight taken.
With its mount-board, I added digitally the lettering on it for prints in my printshop. These geese are available with mount-board or without.
Irl the lettering isn’t on the board.
Framed artwork.
Thank you for looking and reading. I hope you enjoyed my Step by Step of this monochrome airbrush work of 4 Canadian Geese 😊
With my future new artworks, I will make a more detailed step by step for you, maybe even videos.
Any questions or comments, let me know. Always happy to help.😊 And talk about art.
Have a wonderful day all 😎👋🏻
Grtz Jackie
