Being a daddy’s boy😅, my dad provided everything for me at my very early stage. I didn’t really even think of going out to involve myself in something that could make me earn. I spent most of my life in the boarding house and this was where I deviced a means to earn.

SCHOOL COMPETITIONS:
I remember telling you all that I was made the study/library prefect of my school. In fact in my junior secondary I was made class study prefect before even becoming the school study prefect. This already shows how good I was in my academic performances, I was called ‘ACADA’ because the school had to make me their major candidate for school competitions. I remember the day I was called by the school principal, he commended me on my academic performances. He made an offer to me, I was to become a major candidate for the school international and local academic competition. He promised to pay me stipend of about 10k Naira for every competition I go for and an extra 20k Naira for every competition I win.

My first earning came from the first competition I represented the school at, which was the cowbell mathematics competition in the year 2013. The school gave me a stipends of Ten Thousand Naira for that very competition. I couldn’t believe my eyes, because that period my pocket allowance was not even up to 5k. I felt proud of myself and this continued all through the time I left secondary school. I was paid for every competition I went for, and this competitions were numerous because every term my school participates in several academic competitions. I was their very best candidate for the job, and this was how I got to feel like I worked for my money 😅😅😅.

Being very intelligent gave me opportunity to start earning at a very early stage without doing any strenuous job. Ten thousand naira per competition was a huge one for me, and I was able to cover all my needs because I always had money on me. At the long run, I also taught my coursemate during our waec period for money. I earned from academic works and this gave me that very first credit alert 🚨 I wanted.

Wow... when they were telling me to read my book I was being stubborn. Now see all the money I could have made😂
But was the money solely for you? Or you have to spend it only on specific things that pertained to the competition?

It was solely, for me ooo 🤣🤣🤣🤣
For making out time to go represent the school in competition. The school provided everything I needed for the competition. It was just an extra money for me.

@lazy-panda help me review this🥺
