Hello Market Friday Lovers.
today I will show you the hypermart in my city, Binjai City. Binjai city is one of the smallest cities in Indonesia, the area of binjai city is only 90.23 square km. Binjai City is part of North Sumatra Province. Although the city of Binjai is one of the smallest cities in Indonesia, our city is a developed city, because our city is the entrance to the Medan City (capital of North Sumatra Province) from the Aceh province.

when going to pay to the cashier, in the front aisle there is cooking oil, because cooking oil is starting to become scarce in the market, each consumer is only allowed to buy 2 packages of cooking oil (contents of 2 liters per package).

for those of you who are looking for discounted items up to 90% are also available, usually these items are almost entering expiration (3 months).

The goods sold in the modern market are usually neatly arranged on shelves, making it easier for us to find the items we need, besides that we will feel comfortable because of the "air-conditioned room". But usually goods in modern markets are more expensive than traditional markets because we "pay taxes" from our shopping.

That is an amazing market there! I have dozens of markets here in the Washington, DC area. I thought you did a great job on the post!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through by their markets, especially local markets and farmers markets and eventually branching out and evolving over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:
