Convoy NZ 2022 - Day 18 - Friends, foes and investigations

in #vyb3 years ago

It might look like just camping out and relaxing, but life is pretty busy down at Freedom Village. Even when the police aren't initiating games to keep everybody entertained, there are places to go, jobs to do and people to talk to. Especially a load of interesting people to talk to. I stopped to swap a casual greeting with a stranger today, let's call him G, and before we knew it an hour had passed. There are no strangers in Freedom Village.

Most of my photos today were not very exciting, as I was on the hunt for EMFs with Gauss meter in one hand and camera in the other. But I did get one photo that I'm very fond of.

LEGALITIES

Before I get to my EMF investigations, let's start with the momentous news of the day - the result of the court case between the New Zealand police and military and the NZ government. According to the NZ Herald: "A High Court challenge questioning the legality of Covid-19 vaccination mandates for Police and Defence Force employees has been upheld, with the court determining that the government mandate is an unjustified incursion on the Bill of Rights. In a decision released today, Justice Francis Cooke determined that ordering frontline police officers and Defence staff to be vaccinated or face losing their job was not a "reasonably justified" breach of the Bill of Rights... The group relied on two aspects of the Bill of Rights - the right to decline a medical procedure and the right to religious freedom." The full story can be read here:

So it looks like members of the Police and Defence Forces who are currently suspended and were going to lose their jobs in early March will not be terminated. It will be fascinating to see if this ruling can be useful to others who have lost their jobs through mandates. Of course, a potential downside of this is that the police and army numbers will go up again. Could this be an ulterior motive? More troops for the government to deploy in Wellington? But we do still need people in these professions, and as long as this leads to teachers, nurses, doctors, midwives and more getting their jobs back, it's still a win in my book.

Another legal win came a couple of days ago for Karen Brewer, who was charged under the Covid Health Response Act for being in a public place last August, while we were in lockdown. Her defense was that the Act had never been ratified, with royal assent. At a pre trial hearing, the judge agreed that this evidence should be very easy to produce. When she turned up at court this week, the case was dismissed. This seems to indicate said proof could not, in fact, be produced.

DID JACINDA RUN AWAY?

There were two interesting articles on https://thebfd.co.nz today. The first, "From Hero to Zero", reports on Ardern's departure from the capital to some South Island centres she probably expected to welcome her. She was boo'd out of town in Westport, and cries of "shame on you" will have echoed in her ears as she fled a school near Christchurch. The writer said: "She will not back down, but the game is up. In all my time in New Zealand, I have never witnessed scenes like this aimed at a prime minister. She is lost. She is done for." Read more here:

GOVERNING AND POLICING

In the other article, The Freedom Movement In NZ Has Truly Begun, the author calls out the police and the government for their lies and their actions, and tells some truths about what it's really like in the community. Worth a read here:

The protest also put out a press release revealing some of the media inaccuracies and the fact that the police didn't contradict them. It's a bit of a long read, and a lot of it has been covered in previous posts, but I'll pop it down the bottom, as, so far, I haven't found it in MSM.

In other police news, they are now saying there are children within the camp who are at risk and it's time to remove them. They are apparently consulting with Oranga Tamariki (Ministry for Children). At present, there probably isn't anywhere in NZ that is safer for children, with a whole community ready to protect each and every one of them.

If this is a veiled threat (and hopefully it isn't), the attitude of the children of the camp is in stark contrast. This heart warming clip shows the children of the camp approaching the barricades to offer cards of appreciation to the police.

RADIATION SICKNESS?

Today Leighton Baker had a chat with a radiation expert who has been taking readings at various points around the area, at various times. He came to the conclusion that the reading were pretty much what he would expect in a highly populated city area. His feeling was that the symptoms people are starting to feel is because, normally, people would leave the city and go back to a more suburban area at night, and give their bodies a rest. His advice is to drink plenty of water, and to ground as much as possible - get your bare feet on the earth. I have a lot of trouble with Leighton's videos on FB, so I never got to hear what else he recommended. But Vitamin C and iodine could have been in there.

The readings I found with my borrowed Gauss meter support what he found. There were a few hot spots that lined up with where underground cables might run under footpaths. When I lowered the meter to the ground in those places, the readings shot right up. I found nothing that wasn't consistent with underground cables. But I did talk to a few people who said that today was feeling better than it has been. And I was only measuring magnetic frequencies, not electrical, so that's not the full story.

A strange story from today was that another expert found some weirdly high readings from some of the concrete bollards. Some of them showed readings of 1.2 microTesla, which was similar to the readings near the underground cables, and that would be considered high levels by some.

Blocks at the end of Bunny St, facing the Railway Station.

These normal city levels could explain symptoms like fatigue, dizziness or headaches, especially if coupled with dehydration or overwork. And despite how it might appear, a lot of people are working VERY hard to keep the community running. But it doesn't explain the sunburn like burns that I was shown on a couple of faces Tuesday and today, and which the first aid tent have treated a lot of.

I am inclining a bit towards the solar flare theory for this. On the 15th Feb, an extremely large solar flare was reported. Luckily it was on the side of the sun facing away from us, but experts expected that as it turned in our direction, there might be some effects felt. https://phys.org/news/2022-02-colossal-flare-erupted-side-sun.html

Apparently "Solar flares affect the Central Nervous System (stomach lining), all brain activity (including equilibrium), along with human behaviour and all psycho-physiological (mental-emotional-physical) response. Solar flares can cause us to be nervous, anxiousness, worrisome, jittery, dizzy, shaky, irritable, lethargic, exhausted, have short term memory problems and heart palpitations, feel nauseous, queasy, and to have prolonged head pressure and headaches." https://soundofheart.org/galacticfreepress/content/how-recent-solar-flares-are-affecting-humans-0 There is no mention of sunburn, but this flare was reported as one of the largest ever recorded, so the radiation could have been stronger for a few days earlier this week.

I'm still not ruling out energy weaponry, though I really hope that I'm wrong. A mate with a different type of meter, which measures electricity rather than magnetism, found very high readings where he'd parked his car in Aitken Street. While we were checking it out, a new acquaintance pointed out a lot of gadgets on the outside of the Government Archives building facing right down Aitken Street towards us. He said #1 is a facial recognition camera, #2 is a regular phone transmitter and the three x #3 are for sending out focused EMF beams. Though to me they also look like they could be floodlights.

He told us that early this morning he was facing towards them, one of them flashed and totally incapacitated him. Luckily friends caught him before he hit the deck and carried him to the healers tent. An osteo and two other healers worked on him for an hour before he could walk again, but he was still in pain. This may seem an incredible story, but worth learning more. Can anybody corroborate or otherwise what all of these devices are?

We still have no idea how any of this will play out, but I continue to choose to believe in peace, love and miracles.

PRESS RELEASE

PROTEST MEDIA RELEASE: POLICE EXPOSED FOR FALSE ALLEGATIONS ABOUT PROTESTOR VIOLENCE – THREATEN TO PREVENT PORTALOOS BEING SERVICED

A clear pattern is emerging of Police manipulation, with them more focused on ‘PR wins’ in the media than actual policing. The depths they are stooping to will shock New Zealanders.

  1. Today, Police threatened protest leaders with blocking service vehicles from emptying portaloos.

Taking a leaf out of Trevor Mallard’s widely mocked playbook, Police threatened denying toileting to get protestors to meet their demands to move cars within the agreed protest area. This was in full knowledge the action would create a public health issue. Police know approximately 20 percent of people on site are young children and those aged 60 plus. 55 percent are women.

  1. On Tuesday, Police told media that protestors had sprayed an ‘unknown substance’ into the faces of three officers. Media bought the line, jumping to the conclusion it was acid. Footage taken by people in the crowd now reveals it was instead ‘friendly-fire’, with a video showing an officer indiscriminately using pepper spray that blew back on his colleagues. However, both mainstream and social media widely reported that a protestor performed this harm. Worse still, the Prime Minister capitalised further and said she is not engaging with the protestors because of their behaviour.

Both Police and the Prime Minister should now apologise to the protestors for this deliberate defamation. The area is currently the most surveilled part of New Zealand, and they would have known within an hour who sprayed who. There is simply no excuse for perpetuating misinformation. The Police stayed silent because the situation suited the government narrative.

  1. Despite regular contact with Police daily via a dedicated communications channel, today, the Police failed to mention that they would carry out somewhat of a spectacle on Lambton Quay by sending hundreds of officers running up and down the Capital’s streets. This was an area unconnected with the protestors, resulting in significant disruption to Wellingtonians, for a handful of additional concrete bollards.

  2. On Tuesday, Police told media there was the potential for sexual assaults occurring on-site, without actual reports of any occurring or even alerting us. This showed they were more concerned with media headlines than public safety. The allegations were later retracted, but this was barely reported.

  3. Requests by protesters for the Police to provide surveillance images of the offender who squirted faecal matter at the Police continue to be refused, leading protestors to be concerned he might still be on site and at risk of committing similar offences. The Police say their reason for not providing surveillance images of the offender is to protect the offender’s privacy.

  4. Assertions that protestors’ actions have made harbour water unsafe for swimming were dismissed today, with Wellington Water confirming that harbour water quality was within normal range.

  5. Police have claimed high-risk sex offenders are on-site. Given that these individuals are known to the Police and are permanently supervised by at least two officers, the Police are obliged to remove these known offenders as they breach their release conditions. But why waste another sensationalist headline?

This intentional, consistent dishonest pattern of behaviour by Police has left us shocked and disappointed. We will not be manipulated.

The Police are more concerned with mounting a smear campaign against the protestors than honest policing.

It also suits both the Police and government for this misleading and deceptive conduct to remain on public record. Now they have been comprehensively exposed, they should front up and tell the media to correct all the negative news coverage relating to the protestors.

Government PR is entirely out of touch, but the public is not fooled. One in three New Zealanders support the protestors and see the Government for the hypocrites they are. By refusing to meet with protestors because a tiny number cause problems – well outside the perimeter of the main protest site – and by condoning Police smearing protestors’ actions daily with false accusations, Government is directly responsible for inciting anger and public resentment.

Is it time to call upon the Governor-General to intervene? This so-called PR battle is worsening by the day – not because of the protestors but because of Police. And let’s not pretend they are not doing this without instruction from the Prime Minister. Sorry, Jacinda, New Zealanders are not that naïve.

Wake up New Zealand, and stop falling mindlessly into the PR traps this Government leads you to daily. The Prime Minister’s PR team – the largest in our political history – is understood to have 200 communications staff.

It suits Government to focus on peripheral matters to deflect from the core protest demand: Remove all mandates NOW.

Media have slavishly repeated the Government’s key messages about the ‘appalling’ behaviour of protestors. Let’s now sit back and see if these deliberately malicious Police actions, undertaken at the Government’s bidding, attract the same label.

Winston Peters summed it up well this week: “Small anti-establishment and disruptive groups have been given an open door to clash with law enforcement at every opportunity and have been inexcusably painted by the media as the face and nature of the entire protest. Those groups need to be dealt with swiftly and without sympathy, but equally we cannot allow those select few to be viewed as being typical of the thousands of other peaceful, law-abiding protesters who just want to be heard. Those soundbites and pictures of violence broadcast by media might help paint the narrative for the government – but are far from the truth. The vast majority are ordinary kiwis who are just fed-up. What the government fails to grasp is that this isn’t about the protesters at parliament – there are hundreds of thousands of kiwis who have had enough and the government ignores those kiwis at their peril."
