Cigar maker

in #worldmappin19 days ago

Watching a cigar maker working at his craft in Playa del Carmen Mexico the other day was fascinating. Cuba isn’t all that far away either, very much in tobacco country.

Now I no longer smoke but can recall how I used to enjoy a good cigar and these were very impressive looking, nothing like the sort you’d buy in England.

I did a search on Google and there are many of these shops but this one looked the most authentic and interesting.

Sort:

I was never a smoker, but my neighbour likes his cigars. How are prices for such things there?

I note that it's all done with bare hands. Is hygiene an issue with cigars?

You need to go to Tabasco to sample the sauce!

I would love to go to Tabasco but this is the part of the world where things are, three hours that way, five that… then we read about the new Mayan place that’s been discovered! Wow!

Cigar prices, no idea!! I was just fascinated by the making and no sign of any hygiene processes, it was all very raw!
