It is the last Hive Power Up Day of 2024 !
So of course I powered up some HIVE, which means I've done every HPUD through the year. There should be a badge for that :D.

I'm coming into December feeling quite optimistic about my Hive account.
Although I only actually powered up 20 HIVE (fiat is tight right now !), November was one of the best months I've had in terms of Hive earnings. I earned 225HP, which is the most yet, and the Sterling value was good because the price of HIVE has finally started to edge upwards. 59 HBD earned was the 5th best I've earned, but three of those higher months were ones where interest came in twice (1st & 31st of the month) and at 20%.
The key factor in growing my earnings is definitely that I've been posting more consistently, and it's becoming more of a habit than something I just do when I feel like it. But I'm not allowing myself to feel pressured to do a post every day, because that's a sure-fire way to get writers' block !
There are two things I've started to do which have made posting more consistently easier.
The first is that I've set up a bunch of templates in PeakD so the most common types of post I make are all nicely set up with tags and a post outline. It saves a huge amount of time, and I really hope something similar gets put in place in thebbhproject front end in due course.
The second thing is that I've stopped paying so much attention to Tribe Tokens. I realised I was spending quite a lot of time tracking token changes that were worth fractions of a penny, which really isn't a good use of my time.
So I've cut back heavily on the tokens I'm interested in. I've split them into two types. Ones I'll keep collecting and just let them accumulate, doing staking and delegation maybe once every month or so. Then there are the ones I'm genuinely interested in because I think they have real utility or have the potential to create sensible earnings. That's basically LEO, BBH and EDS, plus tokens like BBHO and EDSMM that are very closely related to them.
So that's where I'm at now with my Hive account.... it's looking pretty good, and compounding effects are definitely starting to kick in.
I'm also starting to think of goals for next year. Mostly it's related to the #SaturdaySavers initiative, but I'm also strting to consider learning enough to try setting up a witness node, eith in Hive itself or possible in Hive Engine. Considering the amount of things going on in the "real world" for me, that might not be a high priority.
I hope your HPUD has been as good as mine !
