Greetings Dear Readers;

.

Hope you are well.

This quote....'The softest pillow is a clean conscience.'...we can apply to ourselves and enjoy thinking on it.

If you happen to come across Coach Wooden's sayings...I think you will appreciate his way with words. https://www.coachwooden.com/ is where one can find a bit about him, his success and his writings.

Many of Coach Wooden's sayings apply to sports specifically...however when giving them a study...many also apply to life in general.

Could we call this quote a Principle as well...it certainly is a timeless truth...I think so.

Thank you for dropping by. ^__^

.
Kind Regards,

Bleujay

Principles are timeless truths, maxims, proverbs, and axioms; all for our ponderance.

Sort:

Sometimes the paintings looks so realistic, and I'm sure it's because of the mastery and efforts.

Greetings @josediccus ,

You are too kind....appreciate your kind complimentary words.

It is interesting you say that as I have been taking classes to have a more realistic approach to painting however it seems to me that I never quite make it...that's the challenge I suppose and what makes painting worth it. ^__^

Thank you for dropping by.

Kind Regards,

Bleujay

Tis a very good principle that one. So very very true!

Greetings @meesterboom,

Happy to hear from you and that you enjoyed the principle. Once you have heard it ...it is not easily forgotten as with many of Wooden's sayings. ^__^

Kind Regards to you and your good lady,

Bleujay

Happy start to the week @meesterboom

You too mate!

I've been thinking about this principle last night and analyze it, trying to get the right meaning. I think, it's about a soft heart? Am I right? Good day.😊

Greetings @fixyetbroken ,

Thank you for giving the principle a think.

If we say the principle backwards or opposite its original order...'A clean conscience makes the softest pillow'....it may not be good grammar but it might make the thought a bit clearer.

An illustration for the principle might be ....a child steals a piece of bubble-gum at the store and then cannot sleep because his conscience is reminding him that what he did was wrong....that sort of thing.

Thus the Principle...The softest pillow is a clean conscience.....makes for better sleeping. ^__^

Thank you for the reblog of this post....very kind of you.

Thank you for opportunity to discuss the principle.

Kind Regards,

Bleujay

Ah, I see. Thank you for discussing it with me very well. It seems that little by little, I'm learning the principle you choose. 😊 I'm excited to the next principle and try to guess the meaning behind it. 😊 Greetings.😊

So I have a very good pillow, I sleep very well and with my conscience at peace.
I wish you a happy start to the week

Greeting @lupega ,

This is good news indeed. ^__^

Thank you for your kind wishes.

Kind Regards,

Bleujay

Wonderful sentiment and I am really enjoying the Principal of the Day series! Would work well with the #thoughtfuldailypost movement here on Hive too.

I am also loving the Hyrdangeas! I have a nice one in our garden too and I turn into a little proud old lady when I get to photograph them! ;)

Greetings @zekepickleman ,

Lovely photograph. Thank you for the smiles, chuckles...I know what you mean. My grandmother has the beautiful orange lilies in her Garden. ^__^

With regard to the Principles, so happy to hear of your appreciation of them...great leaders of the past have lived by them and we can as well.

Thank you for dropping by.

Cheers, Bleujay

NB ...also thank you for the tip about a relavant hashtag...appreciate it.

Hello, dear soul. Thanks to @zekepickleman I was alerted to view this simply wonderful post. You see... he and I, have always stayed in contact; contact, whether on our blockchain... Or sparse DM's on Discord. Always a means to check in with each other... share thoughtful content, such as this. Or, even to say hello... I can see the gestation of a simply wonderful TAG here; #principleoftheday. Way back in 2019, I decided to create one. Never thought anything would become of it... HA! I tried to read through your content (posts) but could not find an actual creation of said TAG. Just my mindless rambling, but I wanted to stop by and say hello. Wonderful to meet you and share a photo of our Strawberry/Vanilla Hydrangea:

Having been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis back in 2016. Getting outside and enjoying flowers was a wonderful way to take my mind off of things. I have learned the names of so many beautiful flowers and bushes... Perfect opportunities, to post in the beautiful #alwaysaflower community by @dswigle of course. Anyway... I have WAY too many things to catch up on... but I look forward to seeing more of your words, and perhaps a new TAG? Love and light...

Thank you!

Greetings @wesphilbin ,

How very kind of you to drop by with this thought-full comment, lovely photograph of your bountiful Hydrangea bush and tips....Thank you!

Sorry to hear you are in pain and have been for such a long time. Do hope you have found ways to alleviate the pain.

It is nice to have friends on Hive indeed.

No, sadly the hashtag Principle of the Day never came to my attention. Thank you for reminding Bleujay of Denise's tag. She is missed.

Bleujay began posting Principle of the Day in September of 2016, took a break in 2019 and has since returned to posting at Hive.

Thank you to @zekepickleman for the introduction and lovely to make your acquaintance @wesphilbin .

Kind Regards,

Bleujay

I've been amazed by your talent for a long time. Only a real artist can understand painting so clearly with his soul.
Your watercolor sketches and drawings are full of inspiration.
And your flowers come out just amazing.

Greetings @singa ,

You are too kind...what a kind compliment that only another artist can give.

I do hope we will see your artwork soon.

Happy to know the work is inspiring to you.

Thank you for dropping by for a cuppa...appreciate it. ^__^

Cheers, Bleujay

By the way, I started drawing exactly when I saw your wonderful drawings on your blog. For now, I only paint with acrylic and I don't get it at all as poetic as you do...

DSC02951.JPG

Oh really @singa ...amazing....That's so interesting.

Well I must say you draw beautifully...the colours used here are a superb combination....just scrumptious!

This is poetic...no worries....you have scale..the little figure and the lovely red vase, tension created with the colours, and texture...created with the brush strokes.

Keep painting.... ^__^

Thank you for showing Bleujay your splendid artwork.

Cheers, Bleujay

Thank you for such a flattering review of my work. To be honest, I draw with great pleasure, and even if it still doesn't work out, then I'm still learning :-)

Oh ...I love it! The rabbit has a great eye!

Look at the teapot! ^__^

You are correct...it is great fun whilst in the process...sometimes it turns out and other times not....we hope we learned something...and usually do.
