Getting Ahead In Life

In life we all go our separate pathways through education and career choices and in many ways defines how successful we will be financially in life. Luck and timing plays a role so it is more about what you do with the opportunities in front of you. Those few that have selected crypto for whatever reason have chosen a new technology that should in the future years pay off handsomely.

I have often said those that are already in crypto have such an advantage over those yet to join this space. The time it takes to understand how everything works cannot be under rated due to the many months this takes. Many of us are year ahead of anyone joining with the knowledge we already posses. This is knowledge you cannot buy and only time spent on their various crypto projects gives you this knowledge.

One just has to use HIVE as an example mainly due to the fact there is so much going on and it is rather complex. The time line for anyone new starting out to wrap their head around things would be anywhere between 6 months and 2 years and even then you will be learning new things. The knowledge you have gained over the years by being active within crypto is what is going to get you ahead.

Those who have been in crypto for years following influencers on social media have wasted their time and have not learned very much. I think most people who enter crypto find themselves in this very position, but it is up to the individual to break away and find their own path. The knowledge these influencers have is limited and there is so much more to crypto than what they are promoting.

The saying is that 90% of people lose money in crypto leaving only 10% profitable which is still hard to believe. Personally I believe these numbers must have changed, but then again I am thinking from a mindset that most people have some crypto knowledge. Most are generally lazy and the only way to change the outcome is to learn and improve.

I think the biggest gauge one can use whether you are getting ahead or not besides the knowledge is the growth of your portfolio on a monthly basis in dollar value. We know the majority of people around the world have little or no savings due to the economy so whatever we are earning and staking is slowly setting us apart.

A good example is if someone was growing their portfolio by just $1K each month that is $1K more than those who re not involved in crypto. This accumulation over a 5 or 10 year period starts to hold significant value and could be worth a good $100K even in a Bear market.

My belief is that over the next 5 years those who are not involved in crypto will slowly become involved due to the wealth that is being generated. This will be fueled by desperation having no other choice, but to find alternative income streams. The world economy is a mess and it doesn't look like it is going to improve any time soon so everyone will need to look elsewhere to supplement their monthly earnings. At this point all of us in crypto would have had a decade head start with the being "early" or "lucky" tag thrown around.

What we ae all building daily is seriously valuable and we will only know how valuable over the coming years.

True this crypto world have too much road to keep learning, thanks for advices

Yeah.. and I'm glad that I joined Hive and being aware about crypto because of this platform and the people like you who shared information about it.

There is a lot to learn on Hive and in crypto so the more we know the better we will all do.

Agree.😊😊 The problem of mine is I'm afraid to explore the mobile app offered in the playstore for Hive and crypto.

I think some people eventually learn they understand how it works easier, but they just sell their position rather than growing it. As for Hive, yeah, it might take some time for a regular newbie to get a hang of things. I think some people will eventually mess their first cycle up and will only get to only learn in the second cycle, that's for those who will be patient enough.

Yes the first cycle is for learning and those that do will be successful in the 2nd cycle. This is why I waited before I invested outside of Hive because I needed to know what was going on first.

The saying is that 90% of people lose money in crypto leaving only 10% profitable which is still hard to believe. Personally I believe these numbers must have changed, but then again I am thinking from a mindset that most people have some crypto knowledge.

The saying is true. Maybe you don't see it that way because it refers to trading, but it's true

I believe you, but it is kind of crazy at the same time.

Wow brother, you've really found value in getting into the crypto world, especially with Hive. No doubt learning the ropes takes time, but I believe it's worth it for the potential growth and opportunities ahead.

The potential and upside is massive and why we need to learn.

Absolutely brother, absolutely
