The adversity we go through in trials are also an excellent opportunity to experience the power and faithfulness of God.
Are they ministers of Christ? (As if I were crazy I speak.) Me more; in more abundant jobs; in lashes without number; in prisons more; in danger of death many times. 24 From the Jews five times I have received forty lashes minus one. 25 Three times I have been beaten with rods; once stoned; three times I have suffered shipwreck; One night and one day I have been shipwrecked on the high seas; 26 on roads many times; in dangers of rivers, dangers of thieves, dangers of my nation, dangers of the Gentiles, dangers in the city, dangers in the desert, dangers in the sea, dangers among false brothers; 27 in work and fatigue, in many sleepless nights, in hunger and thirst, in many fasts, in cold and nakedness; 28 and in addition to other things, what comes over me every day, concern for all the churches. 29 Who is sick, and I am not sick? Who is made to stumble, and I am not indignant?
30 If it is necessary to boast, I will boast about my weakness.

Let us remember the apostle Paul that he spent most of his life serving God with fervor and total dedication, that has not exempted him from suffering, this seems not fair, many wonder the following: Why did God allow one of his servants to go through so much pain? We can also ask ourselves this due to the problems and challenges that are presented to us these days.
We can fall into the false belief that those faithful Christians do not deserve any type of suffering, but at the end of the day suffering and difficulties are the furnace that can refine gold and help Christians become more faithful and mature . The reality is that if we all lived a life without trials or pain, it would be very difficult to truly know God because we simply wouldn't need Him. The word of God teaches us everything that we must apply in practice in those moments of adversity but adversity itself is what allows us to apply everything we have learned from the word of God, now not everything is simply knowledge, God allows us apply the truth of the Bible.
In this entire process of difficulty we verify the faithfulness of the word of God and above all the faithfulness of God to keep us and take care of us in any difficult moment, a simple example is in the case of Paul: if he had not been weakened by the persecution and the pain that all this caused him, he had never experienced strength in Christ.
Today we can understand that trials are to strengthen our faith or simply discourage us and want to leave everything. If we really believe what is written in the word of God and apply all these principles in our lives, trust in our God will increase, our faith will be strengthened and affirmed. In this way our faith will be strengthened in the midst of adversity.

La adversidad que atravesamos en las pruebas son también una excelente oportunidad para experimentar el poder y fidelidad de Dios.
¿Son ministros de Cristo? (Como si estuviera loco hablo.) Yo más; en trabajos más abundante; en azotes sin número; en cárceles más; en peligros de muerte muchas veces. 24 De los judíos cinco veces he recibido cuarenta azotes menos uno. 25 Tres veces he sido azotado con varas; una vez apedreado; tres veces he padecido naufragio; una noche y un día he estado como náufrago en alta mar; 26 en caminos muchas veces; en peligros de ríos, peligros de ladrones, peligros de los de mi nación, peligros de los gentiles, peligros en la ciudad, peligros en el desierto, peligros en el mar, peligros entre falsos hermanos; 27 en trabajo y fatiga, en muchos desvelos, en hambre y sed, en muchos ayunos, en frío y en desnudez; 28 y además de otras cosas, lo que sobre mí se agolpa cada día, la preocupación por todas las iglesias. 29 ¿Quién enferma, y yo no enfermo? ¿A quién se le hace tropezar, y yo no me indigno?
30 Si es necesario gloriarse, me gloriaré en lo que es de mi debilidad.

Recordemos al apóstol Pablo que la mayor parte de su vida se la paso sirviendo a Dios con fervor y total entrega, eso no lo ha eximido del sufrimiento, esto parece que no es justo, muchos se preguntan lo siguiente: ¿Por qué Dios permitió que uno de sus siervos pase tanto dolor? Esto podemos preguntarnos también nosotros debido a los problemas y desafíos que se nos presentan en estos días.
Podemos caer en la falsa que aquellos cristianos fieles no merece ningún tipo de sufrimiento, pero al final del día el sufrimiento y las dificultades son el horno que puede refinar el oro y ayuda a los cristianos a hacer más fieles y maduros. La realidad es que si todos tuviéramos una vida sin pruebas ni dolor, sería muy difícil conocer a Dios de verdad porque simplemente no lo necesitaríamos. La palabra de Dios nos enseña todo aquello que debemos aplicar en la práctica en aquellos momentos de adversidad pero la adversidad misma es la que nos permite aplicar todo lo que hemos aprendido de la palabra de Dios, ahora no todo es simplemente conocimiento, Dios nos permite aplicar la verdad de la Biblia.
En todo este proceso de dificultad comprobamos la fidelidad de la palabra de Dios y sobre todo la fidelidad de Dios para guardarnos y cuidarnos en cualquier momento difícil, un ejemplo sencillo es en el caso de Pablo: si él no hubiese sido debilitado por la persecución y el dolor que le causaba todo esto nunca había experimentado la fortaleza en Cristo.
Hoy podemos entender que las pruebas son para fortalecer nuestra fe o simplemente desanimarnos y querer dejar todo. Si realmente creemos lo que está escrito en la palabra de Dios y aplicamos todos estos principios en nuestras vidas la confianza en nuestro Dios aumentará, nuestra fe será fortalecida y afirmada. De esta manera nuestra fe se firmará en medio de la adversidad.
