The Lake Balaton is the largest lake in Hungary, and I think also in Central Europe. The lake offers plenty of water activities. It’s a popular tourist destination, because of the lake. Since Hungary is located with no access to the sea, the lake is a popular destination for locals during summer. It is a river that provides the inflow of water. To spent summer holiday here is not only about water activities and swimming. The region is one of Hungary’s major wine districts. So, you can be on the lake during the day, and sip wine by the shore at night.
