After not talking markets much this week with the holidays and what not let’s see where things are at with a Week End market check-in! πŸ“‰πŸ“ˆ

12/28/24 πŸ“‰ Hive Market Vlog πŸŽ™οΈ

  • Hive
  • Bitcoin
  • Monero
  • Gold & Silver
  • Dollar
  • Ten Year Treasury
  • More

The biggest story of the week is clearly bonds yields being up more than they have been cut since the fed started cutting in September.

The dip we did get in anticipation of the cuts is gone. Bonds moving opposite direction of fed funds. This is the story the mainstream is missing. Trump is gonna deal with a Fed keeping rates higher for longer as I’ve been calling. Quote me! Bookmark it!

The other related story is the bond market in Japan breaking 1% on ten year for first time since 2011. I will discuss that next week. I’d expect a doubling in 2025 on the Japan ten year!

Futures contracts launched for bitcoin in October 2017 - and the short-sellers finished that cycle off (peak was Dec 2017, and a two-year bear market started). It only recovered when covid money was mailed out in 2020.

Futures make it hard for a coin to pump, so the launch of futures for hive is a bad development.

Bitcoin is here to stay and I'm glad to have some, I hope Hive will be, with Hive back on Binance is a good thing seeing better organic price action.

Another all at once pump that makes sure buyer gets worst price.
Interesting. Nothing like watching volume purposely not space out buys for best price. Playing price at a trading instrument on a crypto exchange maybe? πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ. Unfortunately usually dumps right bask down but at least we didn’t go below .29 last time it did.

It's not a surprise to see a lot of people follow the establishment narrative. That is what most people consume, but I think you notice them more because the people who follow that narrative tend to be more outspoken compared to the rest.
