I always loved the splendid and sleazy art of Frank Franzetta - and yesterday evening I made this piece inspired by Franzettas gouache called Sacrifice. The title came up while I was working.

I think more people have been put off Meta products lately. I will not drop them totally, but have cut down as I need to stay in touch with certain people. We could be seeing a shake-up in social media.
I always try to fit in my symbol - this time it got some shading too :)
I really hope this will make people leave all the big commecial networks. Democracy, especially in the US and UK due to the voting system, is vulnerable to those enormous PR entities.
I went to Franzetta's website to see Sacrifice, but it isn't on there, I had to look elsewhere and found it under "deviant art." I can see the attraction! Very vibrant and compelling stuff!
I love your light. In this one, the sacrificial being has a light of his own, every pore. For me, I see the decay of our current corporate/fascist states nearing desperation, trying even sacrifice to hold onto power and profits. Nothing left for them to have faith in other than their demanding gods. Illuminati-like. Nice piece.

Yes, exactly that. I wanted the per Meta-user to glow, but maybe he should have had a bit more glow. It is after all the users who actually create the things that make the platforms interesting. Meta adds nothing but the spy machine.
He does glow, for me. That dry ice effect coming out of his head suggests his thoughts have been frozen. Wind direction toward the external light. Are they hoping to freeze the truth? Lots in this one!!!
Comercial Social Media is like industrial food - it leaves us hungry and fat. So yea - his brain is probably frozen.
