And about the shopping

My eldest daughter and I was at one of the oldest comic stores in the world, Fantask in Copenhagen, as there was a 30 years anniversary for the current owner, Marit. There was beers, softdrink and chokolate and everybody got double as many discount coupons as usual. My daughter bought four manga-books and I bought the Richard Corben Masterpiece. Probably the ugliest book ever made!

Wow, a 30 year old Comic Bookshop! Must have a lot of classics, probably. I don't know about this Den, it looks like the bomb, though. I mostly know about American Superhero Comics. Are there old classic ones hanging around this bookshop still?

Actually the shop is more than 50 years - it was founded in 1971. It was the current owner, Marit, who had been there for 30 years. A life of nerdery and old weirdoes discussing ancient Spiderman magazines.

Famous as one of the main works of the American underground in the late sixties and early seventies. Absurd imagery for sure, but also fascinating in its too-muchness.
